Only Pocketcasts effectively replaces all the functions on all the devices as well as STITCHER did in the past.

Podcasts take up to a minute to start playing. If you close the app before it starts playing, it stops trying to load and never plays. 0 IQ design. (Yes, I have very fast internet).

Been using pocket cast for a few years. Best podcast app I’ve ever used.
  • Too many glitches now

What happened? Podcasts routinely skip or just stop playing now. Same pods play fine in other apps. Can’t use it anymore.
  • It’s great except….

I love this app; it has everything you need. The only nitpick I have is that when you search for a term and get a list of episodes, it’s all in random date order. For example, if I look up something like “Andor”, it will give me episodes from different podcasts, which is good, but will have some from 2021 or 2022, or from last September, up first. And it’s allowed over the place. AND, to make it worse, it only gives a very limited amount of results. If a recent one isn’t in the first 30 results or so, that’s it. You can’t see any more results, even if you’re pretty sure there has to be at least ONE podcast that had an episode on Andor within the last week!!! Very frustrating.

this app used to be very nice and I really like the general interface, but lately it has been demonstrating a bug where it will simply stop downloading podcast 15 minutes into an episode and I have to restart the app to get it to keep downloading. Very frustrating having to stop and start every time I want to try and use it. Please fix this bug. I will be forced to find an alternative.
  • CarPlay issues

Love the app but in CarPlay it crashes just about every time it connects. Have to start playback from the phone rather than the app in CarPlay. Please fix.
  • Trump pact supported

All podcast play Trump supported pact advertisement regardless of what podcast you listen to. I do not listen to political podcast on here, yet I am forced to hear pro Trump propaganda. This is completely not OK. The developer of this app reached out to deny this claim, yet once I switched to a different app the ads were gone. I also replayed episodes that contained the ads and the ads were gone. They implied that the podcast had these ads, yet I know that is not the case.
