Can’t get it to open up properly (just a spinner shows up). Last update was 5 years ago - seems abandoned by its developer

Airstream Forums discontinued this app, but for some reason (?) left it available in the App Store. It no longer functions, so remove it please.
  • Not updated in FIVE years!

The classified section of this app is so frustrating. There is no way to customize search for specific length or year such as 27’ length and 2018 year. Instead, you have to select from a ridiculously large range of options. Same for price etc. Also, when you finish viewing an ad and select ‘Done’ it doesn’t return you to your search. Instead, it resets you back to beginning where you have to start over! This app is also not optimized for phone screens and you must move your screen back and forth to view everything. Please, please update this app.
  • Crashing now

I've used this app for several years, but recently it started crashing when I tried to open it on my iPad. I guess it's an update issue? The website itself is still fabulous but I can't use the app anymore.
  • Nice for reading. Could use a good update.

Update: notifications for subscribed threads no longer work. They stopped sometime back in March. This makes the app far less useful, especially since the search feature does not work well. Really handy for reading the forums. I find it easier to sift through watched threads than the website. The forum emojis don’t work in this app. vBulletin uses proprietary emoji so that’s probably why. Not a big deal but sometimes it’s confusing. For writing posts, it lacks some things. Namely you can’t add photos, and I take nearly all my photos with the phone. The search feature doesn’t always work. Sometimes you have to do it multiple times for it to work. Member views lack some features. If you want to view all posts by a certain member you can’t do that from the member’s profile, which is a bit of a bummer when someone references a post they’ve written in another thread but doesn’t link to it, which happens quite frequently in my experience. I use this app daily and hardly use the website. That’s because I’m mostly foraging for info and learning as I lounge around in the evening. It’s fairly good for that. If the app had the features mentioned above, and updated to use modern UI conventions, it would be super! That said it’s a free app and I appreciate that it’s available. The forums are priceless!
  • Can’t Update User Profile

Entering anything into or editing your user profile is a hit or miss proposition, mostly miss. Seems it is determined I’m from Arkansas and not Texas and there seems no convincing it otherwise. Probably tried to enter my trailer info 50 times but with no success. Also you have to be a less looking for a motor him even if you have a trailer. This app needs work.
  • Frustrating

I am an app developer and Application Analyst for a Fortune 500 company. I guess my expectations for a simple forum application may be too high but this one is frustrating. So far I have Run into a situation where my user ID which is also used in another forum run by the same company will not allow me to post in the airstream forum. I had to create a new user ID from a different email address in order to use the form. I’ve also run into an issue where there are selection lists to fill in some values but there is no way to null that value once you’ve selected it. Other issues as well but I am tired of wasting my time with this review. Just wanted somebody at the company to hopefully see this and fix the issues.
  • A great app and community, but missing one feature.

Others have said this, and I’m in complete agreement. The app is wonderful and easy to use. The community is thoughtful and always there to help. The app layout has been cleaned up with the latest revision. But one key feature from the website is not available on the app - the ability to mute/ignore a thread. Sometimes the discussion isn’t relevant to my needs, or is about something that I’m. It concerned with. On the website, it’s easy to mute the conversation, and it won’t show up in my thread. On the app, the thread will keep showing up as long as users are commenting. It’s a great feature and I cannot understand why it’s not included on the mobile app.
