    Dear Airbnb Support Team, l hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my growing frustration regarding the ongoing issue with my account and the lack of response from your team over the past year. I have been trying to resolve the pending payment of $2,185.02 for reservation HMBQ8CE4NQ, which I initially addressed in my previous email. As mentioned, my account was hacked by my cousin, Chad Griffith, and my aunt, Theresa Austin, who made unauthorized bookings in my name without my knowledge. It is disheartening to realize that the owner of the property, Jason S., allowed this to happen. Over the past year, I have sent multiple emails and made numerous phone calls, yet my situation remains unresolved. I have recently discovered that this issue has not only affected me but also other family members, including my cousin Paul Aguilard, who is facing similar unauthorized charges. This suggests there may be a larger scam at play involving the individuals mentioned. Given the lack of communication and assistance from your team, l am seriously considering hiring an attorney to address this matter if it doesn't get resolved soon. I believe it is only fair that I am not held responsible for these unauthorized charges and the stress this situation has caused.   • Booking Denied with No Reasoning

    Have used AirBnB for 5 years, and recently haven’t been able to book anything at all. Only have good reviews with hosts and have respected every home we’ve stayed at, but now every reservation is canceled due to an “unauthorized party” risk. I’m sure there is some algorithm that my demographic is triggering, but after reaching out to support, no reasoning is given and the denial is upheld. Extremely frustrating, can’t us this service anymore

    Just save yourself time, money, and stress book a hotel. Never wrote a review before but yeah stay at a hotel. Amenities at least will almost always be WORKING and the place kept to a somewhat universal standard.

    They accuse me of being closely related to someone who is banned from Airbnb. They canceled my stay. It’ll be two days before my trip and then I would have to wait seven days to hear back from support in order for them to verify who I am. Booking hotel is easier and less Of a hassle.

    Been trying to book a house for a night. Airbnb will not let me book because they feel it’s an unauthorized party. There is a one night event happening in the town my friends are staying so we only need the place to sleep and it is cheaper than a hotel. So be on the watch because airbnb might not even let you book
  • No heating in a house during a period where it fell to freezing temps. Airbnb did not care.

    Airbnb does not care about vacation home renters. I booked a house that apparently had no heating, it was hidden under “Amenities” and not clearly stated in the description which talked about everything including No Pets Allowed but could not dedicate space to not having heat. It was going to drop to freezing during my stay and that was just not an option. People die from hypothermia. When I tried to cancel, the management wouldn’t return me a full refund. Airbnb subsequently refused to help either. Heat and the survival of its customers is clearly not a basic requirement. Before you book anything through Airbnb make sure you ask the right questions, is there heat, running water, potable water, flush toilets, no pests, etc. because don’t take it for granted. It could be tucked away under a pulldown tab somewhere.

    I experienced a power outage in my flat and tried to book and airbnb to have a place to stay. They now have this feature that accuses you of having a party and won’t let you book. I have used airbnb for years and have obviously never done anything of the sort and they suggest that you get a hotel instead. What’s the point of this app when they don’t even let you use it. It’s ridiculous

    Airbnb host cancel our reservation of 2 nights a few weeks before our event. Airbnb was no help in a replacement and all lodging was minimum 4x the price at this point in the dead of winter in another country. We had cars and flights across the country booked and they tried to replace it with places on an island that was not the destination of our event. We weren’t even going to an island! They just said sorry! Try hotels. Which are sold out.
