Daily Mail made 80% of their inane articles subscription only, so the app is pointless unless you want to pay. I’ve been using the app for years, and I’m done.

Used to be a fairly unbiased news source but ever since the latest update where you have to pay for all the “exclusive” articles it has become a real liberal rag of just anti Trump pieces. Deleting it from my phone.

Daily mail was my first stop. I checked in daily until it decided it had to put everything exclusive and charge for most of the articles. After years of bad spell checks and obvious bias in articles, being attacked by loud ads anytime you looked at a photo, it was still the first place to go. They still had everything first. Now I check once a week maybe and leave quickly after realizing there is a block to most articles. $1.99 for now -$9.99 a month after… no thanks
  • Totally ruined app

I used to love reading all the stories on this app. Until you ruined it with the new format and blocking most stories behind a paywall. The same stories keep constantly coming up. No matter what, I will never pay to read any of your stories. And, by the way, there’s always a way around the paywall!

  • Used to be free, now paywalls for everything

I used to love getting my news from Daily Mail (US version), but now access to nearly all of their articles requires a subscription. I can easily get the same news elsewhere for free, so…no surprise…I’m deleting this app.
  • Used to be my go to source for news. Now it’s not worth it

Greed has taken over Daily Mail. A paywall for trashy stories that used to be free? It’s insulting to be held ransom to read your stories that should be supported by the rediculous amount of pop up ads and intrusive ads that appear everywhere in this app. I will find other sources of legitimate news with editors who can produce a news story without numerous typos and errors. And you want us to pay for that? No thanks. Goodbye DM.

I like Daily Mail, but I dislike the new subscription content.
  • New app is awful

New app is not straightforward, doesn’t seem like you get as much news, is touchy and goes between stories at the slightest touch. Really hate it. Should at least give readers the choice between formats.
