If you want to watch ads instead of getting on the subway, use this app.
  • Most annoying app ever

Ads pop-up when you are opening it up. Every time.
  • Used to be great

Ads have made this app unusable. This used to be the most reliable way to pull up a map of the MTA, but the app has gotten so aggressive on ads that it has become unusable. It takes about 2-3 minute to get past the multiple layers of ads

Developer contacted me after my previous review, app works again, very happy!
  • Free with ads?

I will only be there for the weekend and this looked like a good fit. I elected the “free with ads” version. If it is free why am I being asked to enter credit card info on my first instance of planning a trip? No. This resulted in an instant deletion of the app.

This is the 2nd they had inaccurate information on train closures that I’ve experienced.

Good if you are in NYC
  • Ads takeover page

Used to be good with just banner Ads below the map. Now when you attempt to use it, a whole page takeover ad blocks the map! So annoying and disrupts the need to quickly check the map.
  • Not great on weekends or outages

While it’s a nice map and the route planner can be handy if all trains are running, when trains are down or weekends when all trains aren’t running it’s worthless. Used the route planner and looked at the map. Went to subway on several occasions over a weekend and the train it said take was not running. Need more real time info or this is useless.
  • JUST USE APPLE MAPS - Unbearable ads

This app used to be good before the ads became disruptive. Now it is not worth using at all. Apple Maps transit mode is far superior. Do not consider unless you enjoy unbearable ads at the worst possible times.
