Having left LI in 2006 I am still interested in LI events. Thank you for providing them!
  • Subscribers have to pay extra 5 cents to read articles

This app was at one time free to Newsday paper subscribers. Now they have a pop up on any articles worth reading asking for 5 cents to access. Ridiculous and now the app is worthless. STOP THE NICKEL CHARGE IMMEDIATELY

I would like to see more stories about what is happening on Long Island not your bias political views. I have almost discontinued Newsday several times because you blatantly favor certain candidates.

we enjoy being able to keep abreast of issues on the islands, get exasperated at the local government ( don’t get me started on Blakeman! Ugh!!)

I like Newsday but they have lost too many good reporters and their search engine is useless. Poor coverage of Nassau County politicians caving to Sands Casino $$$$$

So far, I am unable to locate the articles by Scott Vogel even though logged into my account. There needs to be a search box in which to enter his name. The site address is not active/clickable. It should be an easy thing, when reading the online edition of the paper, to connect in one click to the desired information. The only way to connect is to, apparently, go outside my own Newsday app, and log into my account via the web! That makes no sense. People who use the app don’t need to commit their log in information to memory. Therefore, in order to link to the information, a person, such as I, needs to get up, locate my “cheat book”, return to my desk, to link to what I am interested in.

I only click on the app once a year or so now. Every time I tap on a story it says I reached my limit of 3 stories. Meanwhile, it’s been almost year since I came back. The app is flunky. I’m also not paying for it. There’s other news sources. I don’t need to know what’s going on in Bellmore that badly
