  • New auto play audio feature makes app unusable

There’s no way to disable autoplay on audio, forcing you to listen to all manner of articles that you either have no interest in or have already listened to. There’s no way simply to listen to one article at a time. Please fix this. In addition, you no longer have an option for the voice you prefer in AI. The new AI voices give dramatic readings, making it quite annoying to listen to.
  • No longer news.

I have been an avid WP reader for 25 years. I have watched it go from a world class news outlet to a partisan rag. I met Katherine Graham and admired her greatly. She operated with discretion and a sense of honesty and fairness. I can not imagine what she would think of what has become of the WP. The WP app puts opinion on the first pages. I have to hunt through all the democrat operatives to find news and analysis. The app is rich in opinion and short on reporting news. So predictable. So bias. So sad.
  • Fake News

WaPo is great for fake news. Not much local content or sports. Biased, angry writers with great disdain for ordinary Americas. They seem to love criminals and illegal aliens. Will swallow anything a Democratic politician says without question.
  • Not unbiased

Delicate regarding blatant Trump abuse of American law and decency, always giving him a pass. Musk as well. Trying to make Trump appear a legitimate candidate. Not a good news source. Will not renew when subscription expires.

The “opinion” pieces are all written by corporate hacks. Why read this trash propaganda when you can just read the AP? Duck sy mick, bezos 🖕

Thank you for getting into the nitty gritty details without bias. I have hope that somehow their is still some checks on bad faith actors in our government and business community.

Now requires creating and logging into an account to view some articles. Nope. I’m paying through Apple precisely so I don’t have to do that. See ya.
  • A changed paper for the worse

Just 12 years ago I would have ranked the Post right up there with the Times and WSJ and LA Times as a most credible and trustworthy organization. Sadly, it’s transformed itself just as the NYT and LA Times have, into a progressive outlet focused on identity politics and divisive narratives. To be sure, it still employs excellent reporters and still does some great reporting. But, at this point, I would seek verification for most things that they report. If you’re going to subscribe then make sure you also get the Daily Caller or Examiner just to balance it out. It’s sad but that’s where we’re at.
