    Can’t believe they expect you to pay 20 dollars a month for this. that’s 240$ a year. Change it to 9:99$ and I would have used it

  • Messes with cellular service

    When I first downloaded it it was working fine and added a vpn to my device but after about 2 months the vpn started acting up and constantly turning off screwing with my service slowing down all my apps and whenever I’m loading anything. This also messed up connection with WiFi connections. The vpn cannot be turned off and will sometimes not allow anything to load as long as it is off. Overall it’s a good app but has some major drawbacks that are very annoying

    I love the idea of filtering and accountability, but there are just too many issues with the VPN causing slowness or mail not to download. There is also this thing that happens on macOS where safari will hesitate to load a page, then flashes a bright white light, which could be a trigger for those with epilepsy. Worked with support for a while and their “solution” was to completely reset the filters so it wasn’t blocking anything, which worked but didn’t filter anything (the entire point of the app). I will probably look for something else at this point, for the app/service makes basic features on my phone unusable.

  • Does not work with iCloud Private Relay

    According to Apple, “Private Relay hides your IP address and browsing activity in Safari and protects your unencrypted internet traffic so that no one—including Apple—can see both who you are and what sites you’re visiting.” I had been using it with no problems until I got this stupid app. Websites will only load if I follow this order: 1: type in the URL and launch it 2: close the tab and quit Safari 3: turn on airplane mode for a few seconds and then turn it off 4: reopen Safari 5: repeat (often 10+ times) I recently turned off Private Relay and it is now working, but still very slow. Please fix this issue, but I don’t expect a company that has no concern about their customer’s privacy to help.

    App won’t allow me to make an account. If I can’t even make an account, time to try a different app.

    Updates have resolved the issue I mentioned in my original review. I haven’t had any issues recently and it works great. (Old review) VPN keeps cycling on and off endlessly, making the phone almost completely unusable. The app has been great for the most part, but whatever this recent change is has been terrible

    It regularly disables itself or something. Then we have to uninstall the app and reinstall it.

    My family has been having issues with Covenant Eyes. We’ve contacted support several times, but the issues have never been fixed. I think it’s still monitoring our activity, but it’s definitely not functioning properly.
