    Wow there are more commercials than news. Especially for their own shows. Too much of the same commercials over and over and over.

    I love the apps, we want more news and less advertisements. The overall reports from all stations are good but too much advertisements that frustrate people watching it. I know it is your main income but please consider your fans needs too!

    I had the older CBS app on my phone, and then add to download the new one. It worked fine until about a week ago when it stopped loading live news. The HELP faq does not help and although I reached out, I still have not heard from someone. I tried deleting and reinstalling, I tried closing and restarting my phone, I even tried to find the ad blocker, but it wasn’t where the FAQ said it was.

  • The App Has Improved Since BBC Partnership

    Since your partnership with the BBC the style and format of the app has dramatically improved. The current weather feature in the top is good, small, clear and useful and following a good format along the BBC App lines. I would recommend less chunky lettering for the article body ( Chunky Text for the Headlines is perfect though! ). Just please do not do Ariel or some futuristic font but please use a variant of Garamond or Times New Roman, some lettering for the body of the article that is stately and less chunky. Actually, Georgia would be the best article font to pair with the current font used for headlines. Georgia font would play like a harmonic melody with the Chunky Headline font you currently use. Also take a tip from the BBC and please chill it on the constant videos as the first thing you see by making the app more article focused and podcast friendly. I am in that 25-35 demo and I do not watch CBS News but listen to CBS News Podcasts and read articles on the App, so style and presentation really make it or break it for me when it comes to my news sources alongside me trusting their coverage. Your Podcast cover art for CBS Evening News and 60 Minutes are fantastic ( Face the Nation has too much going on with its cover art ) but please fix and de-chunk the font for the body of the articles on the CBS News app while keeping your Headline font chunky. Makes it a lot easier to read. Cheers!

    The standalone CBS Weather App was easy to use & worked GREAT. CBS chose to no longer support it. The replacement CBS NEWS app is AWFUL-thus all the bad reviews. We need easy to use DEDICATED weather with live radar.

    App keeps covering up stories with a banner telling me that I have to enable ads in order to read the news. Then it gives instructions on doing that in Safari when I am not using Safari. I am using CBS’ app!

    I appreciate the app, but I strongly believe the option to pause and fast forward in the video player should remain. These features are essential for a better viewing experience. Additionally, there’s an ongoing glitch where activating full-screen mode mutes the stream, and the only way to restore the audio is by restarting the app. This can be frustrating, especially during live content. I hope the developers address these issues soon, as fixing them would greatly improve the app’s usability.
