    2025 update: Thank you so much for fixing the annoying ads! It’s SO much better! And the calendar for reading missed days works well. Many great improvements! But I do very much miss the beautiful nature pictures with the verse of the day. I often screen-shot them and looked at them all day/made them my phone background for the day or month. The beauty of nature made the verses seem so much more alive. Also the fact that the verses took up the whole screen without distractions made it a great way to start the day. Also - the asterisks in the passage don’t open up to notes - aren’t they supposed to? I’m on an old phone, maybe that’s why? iPhone 7+. I guess on one hand it helps me keep reading and not get as distracted, but I also loved learning more and studying where the notes led me. Thanks for all you do! Updating to say, I’m so sad about the ads - I was trying to read the verse of the day and found the ad so distracting I couldn’t get the sense of the verse. I’d rather pay $2.99/year or something to use the app ad free. The rest of my review still stands. Thanks. ——- I’ve loved Tecarta for years now and it stays just as wonderful through every Apple update - Thank you lovely coders! This is my go-to every morning, and one of the very few apps I allow notifications from. I especially really appreciate the beautiful photos every day with the verse of the day - Beauty from nature feeds me right along with the Word. I also really love the devotional apps and have been staying with Praying Through the Bible for a couple years now (Love languages one is good too, esp on difficult days). One thing I’d like — when I’m reading the devotional for the day I’d love to be able to share it with someone so they could see what I’m reading today and maybe I think it would help with what they are dealing with too. I also love all the translations available to me, and the commentaries. I watch for the Tecarta sales and have bought many things at sale time! And I love them. I do wish the study Bibles were able to link their helps right in the passage instead of having to bounce around some in the app to get to the maps and cross references etc., and maybe an easy way to have the passage and the commentary open at the same time. Also to use as a parallel Bible and have two different translations open would be nice. I’m on an iPhone 7+ though, so i am blessed with a lot “real estate” on my phone to make that an easier proposition. Thank you all! Trish

    To the app makers its just an app that makes money But for us its a meaningful app that has more than a monetary value, it is an investment of mostly our time and study and some purchases with many hours of notes and learning, And having it setup the we like. We would rather have it the way it was. Then they change the app to “New & Improved” (which actually means more ads) and cause you to update to the new version whether you want it or not. For some of us we would like to have kept it the way it was, a very good and simple Bible app that worked very well. No need for a new version of this app.

    I use the Strongs KJV version. I love that each verse is line by line. You can also highlight verses or WORDS. So cool! It sinks between my iPad and iPhone. I wish it had a daily tracker to show how many days you have been in the Word.

    Only reason I gave a low star because it doesn’t have the apocrypha book nice app in general…….with the apocrypha I think this would be the BEST App out there my opinion

    I formally used the Tertacata app and loved it. I started using this one and it is great especially on the ipad. You can have multiple views, the storing of the daily scriptures for a month, plans from different sources, and the Touchpoints are amazing. All my purchases were integrated into the new system and I love the access to free multiple Bible versions. Thanks for this app. As others have noted, I too utilize the YouVersion but this is great. Keep up the great work.
