  • Not a fan of the new UI

The UI changes make it confusing to add food. I have been using this app for years, with an annual subscription. I had my daily plan setup that was easy to track. Now I cannot find my recent food items. I am a busy person with no time to play. I am canceling my subscription. I don’t have the patience to pay to be a beta tester.
  • Multi modal disaster

This used to be an excellent app. The new multimodal version is nearly impossible to use via the text option (the only mode that would work for me). Worse yet, half the items I tried to track (peas, seriously?), the app responds “sorry I can’t help you with that” and fails to add the item. I’m very much regretting the 3 month subscription I paid for, because the app as it is now is functionally useless for me. I will check back in to see if it gets any better but I will be cancelling my subscription.

Please fix the app. The new update is terrible.
  • Not a fan of the AI integration

I don’t want to use AI to track my meals. Adding meals was very easy before. Now I need to use multiple steps to add/edit items or change calories estimated by AI. Please provide option to turn this off and go back to the previous experience. Thanks. Ps: why is every food image a banana Michael?
  • 10 taps to enter one meal item

The new app redesign is so inefficient. I have used Lifesum for maybe 10 years. I can’t tolerate this. In order to input one meal item I have to tap 10 (!!!) times. Here’s how it goes: 1. Tap + 2. Tap Quick Track 3. Tap Favorites once, no, twice, no, three times, no, four, oh, yay, it finally switched to Favorites! 7. Tap Search 8. _Finally_ search for my food! 9. Tap + 10. Tap Track! Phew! Who designed this? Who approved it?

Not paying for this anymore. Just let me track normally.

This new update is awful and so confusing. Please bring back the old interface! It was so much more intuitive!

I liked this app when I purchased it in October, but December had a new update with the ugliest app icon. It also introduced the most difficult process to track your meals. Before you could see for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack an estimate of each meal’s calorie range you should aim for. It now doesn’t have that. If I could request a refund based solely on the difficulty to track and overall aesthetic I would.

this app was good until this new update. it is difficult to use and not accurate on calculating calories.

I use this app daily and it has helped me lose weight. However, they just updated it and the UX/UI “looks” nicer but it’s actually more of a pain now. I miss the simplicity of breakfast/lunch/dinner, now it’s just a grocery list essentially. I’m trying to delete some favorites and can’t find how. Some of them I can and the heart is there but some I cannot. I like the photo and quick scan, but don’t like the quick track because that’s now how you have to get to search foods. I don’t ever see myself using voice. Maybe image, rarely text. I miss the smiley face for the day to let me know how I was eating. The macros breakdown is nice to glance at. Idk, I’m sure it’ll grow on me but I typically dislike when companies make things more complicated in a weird attempt to make things easier.
