  • Tells me it requires a LIDAR sensor on my device…

…AFTER I’ve downloaded and installed it. Gee thanks, guys! Might want to mention (shout) that little detail in the app description. I tried installing it on my iPad (nope) and then on my iPhone (also nope), because it says it works on my devices. IT DOESN’T. It shouldn’t have let me download if it’s not compatible. WASTE OF TIME.

I was house hunting and in a rush I bought the pro version of the app to scan all the rooms, planning to review the floorplan in more details later (I forgot to bring my tape measure). It looks great and fun and all but it doesn’t show any dimensions. All I wanted to know is the size of the room so I can see if some of my existing furnitures can fit, it is totally useless for this purpose.
  • Near but useless

It’s neat how it uses the LiDar to make accurate scans but is completely useless as you cannot rearrange furniture. So what’s the point? I don’t use computers and apparently I’ll need one with a software program to move the models around. Hard pass, requesting my money back immediately.

I’ve worked in AR for 10 years and tried a bunch of apps. In my opinion, this one does not justify its $4.99 upgrade to Pro, to only get the ability to change wall colors or (strange) wall textures like lava or ice. There is no ability to change floor textures or colors however, and this does not give you square footage of the room scans. I see no way to join multiple scans together into one house plan. Also, this app does not detect peaked ceilings, and interprets all ceilings as level and rectangular. I see no need to export these models are rendered. Was hopeful, but pretty disappointed with what the Basic and Pro versions give you.

Love this app! Great for scanning rooms and planning your interior design with the scans. Having a lot of fun sketching out our remodeling of our living room. I shared it with our architect who now uses it with their other clients.

So easy! Created a perfect 3D model that I could export to a bunch of file formats. I checked the dimensions and it was super accurate - less than an inch difference! I highly recommend this app for anyone needing to create a digital version of their room or house
