It worked great the first time I tried it through chatGPT. Now it won’t connect to Amazon it won’t upload to Apple but it happens to work great with Spotify who sponsors them. Hmm. 🧐

Terrible and no better than whatever the Apple Music algorithm does. Forking over data to whomever this and Apple for nothing.
  • Buggy, slow, inaccurate, and expensive. What’s the point?

A year later in 2025, this app still misses the mark. I tried it again and asked it to make a 100 song playlist of 80s b-sides, deep cuts, and forgotten favorites. It spit back 27 songs that are the most popular 80s songs ever. I don’t know what AI they are using but it’s terrible. If I ask ChatGPT for the same playlist, it gives me exactly 100 songs that match the request perfectly. Honestly it’s 1000x better to generate playlists using ChatGPT and then import that list of songs into Apple Music using the free TuneMyMusic service. It’s also quicker — this app is painfully slow, and throws errors more often than not. I emailed the developer asking if they had any advice about why it’s giving me tracks that don’t fit what I’m asking for, but after 5 days they didn’t respond. Original review: I tried several features of this app when it first launched and again in Nov 2023. It’s ridiculously buggy and slow. I tried creating a couple playlists just now and after waiting 3 minutes for a response, I gave up. Same with finding “friends of artists”, no response in a reasonable amount of time. When the full ChatGPT4 Turbo with custom GPT assistants is $20/mo and has unlimited uses (not just playlist creation), why would I spend $2.99/mo for this app? Especially when ChatGPT can spit out a playlist for me in about 10 seconds vs this app taking 3+ minutes? Also, ChatGPT directly makes MUCH better playlists, and is interactive so you can tailor it to your personal preferences. I find that this app generates completely predictable playlists of hit songs that I’ve heard thousands of times, even if I prompt it to make a playlist of “b-sides and discovery”… while the same prompt on ChatGPT directly generates a playlist full of surprises.
  • Wow 4 songs, what a playlist.

The only options you get are Amazon music which constantly pops up to subscribe to Amazon music unlimited, Spotify? Which I do not use, and another I have never heard of. It will not let you use Apple Music and the others listed aren’t supported. Terrible app. One of the worst “AI” things I’ve seen. Don’t waste your time.

Used to have a cool feature that let you pick artists and leave a prompt for them. Now it just times out all the time, and the features cost money
