Categories for blood tests don’t make much sense to me.
  • Great for non diabetic health conscious people too!

This GI database is great also for people who have no immediate diabetic health concerns (ie. are not diabetic nor pre-diabetic) and want to keep a healthy food lifestyle. One thing that can be better is an increase in database size. Quite a bit of foods I’ve tried searching were not in the system.

The App will not allow me access without purchasing the Plus. You want $24+ inside the app and &11+ from within the App Store. Why the difference and why can’t we look around the App without having to make a purchase?
  • Disappointing so far

I wish I had read dog lovers question before I purchased…I also am dumbfounded as to why there would be a GI “calculator”, (if you will), & then it require ME to ADD the glycemic index 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ My other question is: what if I’m having a different portion size - I don’t eat everything in 100 gram portions - I haven’t seen yet how to adjust the portion size. It’s possible I’m missing that somewhere. A barcode scanner in this app would be amazing & solve most of these issues. I’m actually surprised it does not have one considering the price for the “Premium” app. I wish I had known these things before I purchased.

I have reached out multiple times on the feedback section and I haven’t heard back from anyone. There is a section to add foods, but you are supposed to include the glycemic index for that food. If I knew that information, I wouldn’t need the app 🫤 After writing this review I did hear back from them on this issue and I appreciate the response. I think this app is still adding information which will be helpful to me moving forward.
  • Not worth paying for. I have buyers remorse

Many foods are missing and it’s difficult to get accurate portions. I just purchased this and would like my 19.99 refunded. I would be willing to pay 4.99 but until it’s more refined 20.00 is too much.
  • Limited database

So far nothing I’ve looked up has been listed, and the items are not foods out of the ordinary.
  • I’m not diabetic yet

I’m not diabetic. But I don’t want to become one either
  • Misleading

This app claims GI and GL I won’t use an app that gets a download by misrepresentation, relying on the download to incite a purchase. No GL without paying $20 - so no. My personal policy is not to do business with companies (or developers) that I can’t trust. That’s just me. There’s enough dishonesty and greed already Deleting now. Update Response from developers did not address my review except to confirm what I said. It appears to be a response to look like they responded.

I’ve emailed the company with no response. I purchased this app for my wife who’s fighting cancer. However, it does not show that on her phone even though we have everything shared. Every app we’ve ever purchased, everyone in the family can use??? Also, this app does not show up under settings with every other app on my phone?? I need some assistance
