  • Not for me

This is really difficult to figure out and I don’t like that there wasn’t a easy way to connect with my good reads which lead me to putting every single book individually into my profile.
  • Doesn’t have all the books In series

Trying to add a manga series and it doesn’t have all of the books. Cute app but can’t be accurate with how many books read if it doesn’t have the option to add all of them
  • Great idea… kind of buggy

Overall, I like the app and the idea behind it. The UI/UX was created nicely, however, I have experienced a handful of bugs (yes I reported them) in my first day of using the app. The bugs range from force closing itself while performing different actions, imported books not being able to edit them then app force closing on you, not being able to change the theme of the TBR bookshelf you can go through the motions but it doesn’t let you select a theme other than original. Secondly, why can’t we log into the app especially if you subscribe as pro?

PRO: Love how organized and creative this app is; really helps give me a visual on what I have read for the year PRO: Love the creative and festive designs you can use to create your own bookshelp CON: I "spent" a lot of coins last year to buy cute accessories for my bookshelf (LOVE my pink gingerbread house) and even though it is showing up in my app, it will not let me display or use it this year

I have been looking for an app to keep track of books I want to read. I have tried a lot of apps and TBR- Bookshelf is the best hands down. I love that it is simple to use, offers a lot of customization, and has a free option. It also allows you to set a yearly reading goal and offers reading statistics. I actually bought the premium version just to show support for such a wonderful app.
  • One thing missing from 5 stars!

I have loved using this app. I have enjoyed the features of rating the books by genre and themes in the books. I love that I can see how many books I’ve read on an actual bookshelf! The one thing I’m missing from this app is being able to rate the books with half stars. Sometimes a book is a 3.5 but not quite a 4. Having the option to include half stars would make my rating a five!

I loved this app so much but unfortunately a few days ago (possibly after an update) all my data is gone and I have no entries. Very sad about this and it doesn’t seem like there is any way to restore my data

I just downloaded it today because my fiancée found it on TikTok. Starting off with I love it. I have been using a paper book log but since I got this app that’s a thing of the past. I love how the books all get logged with the cover imaging and you have the option to sort your already read by date and by Rating love that. The one thing I do wish I could have is I know in the TBR section you can rearrange to show a bookshelf layout I wish the read could have that option as well. Overall though I love it. And plan to use this app as my main book log. I am so thank ful I downloaded it when I did.

I’m not paying 4.99 a month to put a book on a virtual bookshelf that doesn’t even look like the book. it just looks like someone made it on a simple drawing app. There’s so many other free apps that do so much more. Cool it’s like it’s actual bookshelf, but I have them in my room that way, so why would I need it on an app when I already have the books I already paid for on top of paying for this app does not make sense.
  • For my ever growing tbr

I love it because there is no limit to how many books I can add to my tbr. I use the app frequently. I wish we were able to organize our tbr lists into categories and hope to see this feature in a future update.
