Author changed app from free basic use, to mandatory subscription $4 a week ($16/month). Clearly not a popular move per the reviews. Sad doesn’t have a 2-tier use option Free and Pro as not everyone needs the Pro features. Anyway, deleted.

Installed and launched for the first time, a pop up advertising the benefits of the pro subscription comes up with no way to tap off it unless I sign up for a 3 day trial. Failed first impression, uninstalling and looking for an alternative after i submit this review.
  • honestly, sketchy…

I don’t remember this app behaving this way before, but it now forces you into a trial on first launch with seemingly no way out. That would be bad enough, but it also demands, incessantly, access to your entire ~/ user folder — desktop, documents, settings, the works. If you give it access to some other "workspace" folder, it knows, and it will hound you until you give it what it wants. That is just about as suspect behaviour as I have seen from any App Store-published app, maybe ever. I am sure it is just innocuous, or not fully-thought-through code, but the developers would be well-served to rethink (and recode) that (and I’ll gladly update my review once they do).

BE AWARE OF OFFERING TO CHARGE BEFORE EVEN KNOWING EACH OTHER!!! No movie? No dinner? Nothing? Installed, tried to open it, POP UP immediately “offered “ me 3 days of pro features free. Sounds awesome but… to do that you MUST accept beforehand a charge of $3.99 after those 3 days, then a $3.99 PER WEEK or you won’t even have access to try the app for the aforementioned 3 days!!!! Counting that you could experiment and feel the app on those three days, one could decide to buy it or not, instead of authorizing to be charged every week ($48/year) in case you like it, or forget to cancel it in time.
