  • A Fun Sleep App

This is a pretty fun way to monitor your sleep habits, especially if you like Pokémon. Progress is slow at first, but does build up over time. I highly recommend.
  • Keeping this short…

Kinda reminds me of Neko Astume a bit. Not your average pokemon game. Idk how accurate the sleep data is or genuinely what anyone of it means but it does a good job of encouraging a consistent sleep schedule. Here is why only 3 stars: I don’t want to click through 50 different screens to be allowed to go to bed. Stop penalizing me for trying to go to bed faster. I get it’s a game and there needs to be some gameplay loop but some days I don’t want to play the game, I just want to track how well I slept.
  • Too slow

It’s cute, but everything moves too slow. I just want to skip through it all so I can turn it on and go to bed!!! I don’t want to go through a dozen menus, and I’m not opening a sleep app during the day. There needs to be options to skip cutscenes and notifications. It’s so frustrating to be exhausted and have to collect things from pokemon with so many tedious pop ups. Also, why is it so bright? Why is everything white and blue? It’s meant to be a sleep app, and yet it uses a color scheme known to negatively affect sleep patterns, even prominently on the sleep screen itself!! It’s begging you to wake up, check the time, and get blasted with blue light. It’s a shame since waking up to see the Pokemon was fun, but I’m just going to uninstall it at this point.

Been playing for almost 2 years I think? Simple chill game that doesn’t require you to check every 5 minutes like other mobile games. There is some thinking involved if you want to optimize your teams, as well as a lot of patience. But overall it you can get by just fine by making a team of whatever pokemon you like best and just checking 3 times a day to feed your snorlax. Checking more often can help sure, but this is a sleeping app at the end of the day… so let’s relax! Only wish that they added more pokemon more frequently. It’s odd when months pass and they announce that only a single species is now available to catch. I think events occur frequently enough to keep it interesting while, again, making it so I can keep this as a chill game I play every DAY, but not every MINUTE. Lots of shinies too if you do things right. In fact, my best pokemon is shiny (black) charizard!
  • Needs More Sync Options

Was excited to start playing this on my IOS device, but I have a Garmin Instinct Tactical Watch. Garmin may sync flawlessly with Apple Health for sleep data but for some reason this is not supported by Pokemon Sleep. Wish it was, but until then I’m not leaving my phone open all night and on my bed. Low stars for limited function in 2025.
  • Won’t sync my sleep

I have recently downloaded this app because I love Pokémon, went through all the steps to sync my Apple Watch and my health app to track my sleep. Wake up and it prompts me to sync my sleep data but woah no sleep data to be found. Meanwhile on both of my sleep apps it has where I slept the night before and last night. So safe to say after two nights of this won’t work I’m done trying to use it.
