There’s no way to take an assessment from the DTL view despite it being an advertised feature. If you think you’re gonna be able to benefit quickly with this app, forget it. Very technical and they don’t provide detailed instructions anywhere. They , or someone, can do better at this price. Now, to further antagonize their paying customers, Version 2.33.0 has been released and claims that “Hand and Clubface Path measurements are available“for all Subscribers, even free subscribers”. This is piled on top a feature that bypasses the IPhone “update apps” feature and only alerts you to update when you open the app. This clever feature makes the app unusable until it’s updated from the open app, really annoying when you’re at the range without cell service or wifi 😡. I’m a Paid Player Subscriber and the Hand and Club Face path measurements are NOT included in the update to Version 2.33.0. I spent valuable practice time trying to access that measurement, only to have Sportsbox tell me it’s only available for Pro subscribers. Had great hopes Sportsbox was an ethical company, now I’m not sure they are 😕

This app won't use the videos I import and won't let me change from front on to down the line. How often can you really set up a camera front on 6-10 ft away on a range? There are other people using the range. It won't let me change my club selection. They don't respond to support inquiries. Wish I could use the thing.
  • Selfie mode?

I’m sure this is a fine piece of technology but there was no way to get it into selfie mode. The app didn’t have a way to reverse the camera and when it switched the camera in the iPad when I got back to the app the camera was facing front again. Oh well. Can’t win them all.

Please hire some QA… it correctly identified that my chest turn is -100 (which is too much) yet it suggested I need to do MORE chest turn. It’s a simple math issue they have the threshold backwards. They even said in the summary that pros average -95 for irons and mine is higher than that

I have attempted to analyze my swing and the error that “something happened “ keeps popping up. I tried to record with the app and import from camera roll… both failed.
  • The Best Golf App By A Mile

There are quite a few golf apps and I’ve tried most of them, but I am absolutely blown away that for around $15 a month you can actually have this kind of computing power to help analyze and fix your swing mechanics. Considering I consume so much Golf content and just learned about it - the only thing they didn’t do right was market this thing enough.

Will change review if I find a way to change the club while in swing analyzer

To start, iv been using this app for a little on over a month and have improved a few aspects like properly using my hips and maintaining posture throughout the transition. Both of which have increased the frequency in which I hit solid shots. With that being said the app itself feels clunky and the ai is pretty slow if you don’t have perfect WiFi. After taking the swing assessment the app pinpoints a few things that should be improved to help with your swing. It offers tons of data which can be a little overwhelming. My main issues is that the by offering so much data it makes it a bit confusing if your trying to fix multiple aspects of your swing. An example would be trying to reduce/increase pelvic sway at top or pelvic sway at impact. Once you get that number in range you move to the next topic suggested. Example: chest turn at transition. Which once you get that in range now your other measurements are even more out of range. Since the app provides actual angles and numbers it feels pretty accurate but some of the tips have actually made my ball striking feel worse. I would say the app itself is worth at least a 1 month sub to see if it helps resolve your issues.

Five Star information. I’m working with Helen Kurtin (Gateway Section PGA) on overcoming my “under cut” swing and this is a great visual.
