this extension is almost perfect—it does exactly what it says on the tin, but i would reeeeally love an option to have it highlight your name when it’s being replaced, so you can know when your name is being replaced vs when your proper name is actually being used

essentially i downloaded this because i needed a y/n replacer on safari for fics that i wanna read bc i HAAAATE the use of y/n. my only problem is with this is that when its typed like Y/N instead of Y/n it puts my name in all caps. i know this isnt the appa intended purpose so this isnt rlly a valid complain but i needed to get my rage out. wonderful app tho works perfectly in the replacement aspect

So my dead name is Matt. New name Quinn. I installed this and forgot about it. Slowly I noticed the word "quinner" occationally in whatever text I was reading. I counldn't figure what this word had to do with the rest of context of the text. The word I found out quinner was replaceing was "matter." I.E., "it just doesn't seem to "quinner" anymore." I then noticed that anyone named Matt became Quinn. It took me few days after that realise that the extension was culprit.

It works so well I’m so unbelievably happy, I was so tired of seeing my deadname everywhere and it really helped!! You can even make it so it uses to names interchangeably: I go by Fenris and Trico and it can use both of them for the same deadname. I strongly recommend!!

when you have to have legal documents open of school or work and been forced to look at your deadname and others sewing it too can be so embarassing but this works great!
