CUSTOMER REVIEWS “This app is an ABSOLUTE GODSEND and I cannot recommend it enough. It works amazingly, is so easy to use, scans things super quickly and allows you to put in so many different things (I’ve got allergies, intolerances, and OAS [yay me, right!])” -Karina C. “Fig has changed my life. Being able to easily scan labels and quickly see if a product is safe for me to eat has been a game changer. I used to cry almost every time I went to the store. My eyesight is terrible, so reading labels is difficult. Now I can get in and out easily. Thank you!!” -Allegra K. “I have never felt more liberated, supported, seen and represented by an app and its founders. I am better able to manage my allergies and food intolerances through Fig and it has made an immense impact in my everyday life.” -Rachel S. “Food allergies had turned grocery shopping into a nightmare for me. Not free. It’s so rude they advertise this way.

I’m new to the gluten free anti inflammatory lifestyle. I know the basics, but there are so many nuances that I would not be able to catch without Fig. Thank you Fig for keeping me healthy and safe!
  • No support. Family Sharing gets turned off by Apple.

Updated: One of your listed support email bounces. Family sharing gets hosed by Apple in an “update”. Have to turn it all back on. If you use “Sign In With Apple” before getting Family Sharing to work, the only work around is to turn off that “feature” then redo your entire My Fig & then sign in to the app with your new sign in credentials. You also have to restore the purchase as the old My Fig is hosed. Updating My Fig was a very long process. Finding things to fix is helped if you can find the categories to search for… Finally, I got it all working but it was very frustrating. Now that it works, I really like it, except when I have to change the My Fig profile. Make sure that it either has you save the profile or that you get a change save message or it isn’t saved. Rating changed from 2 stars to 4 stars. Previous contact that bounced & the previous review. I tried to use family sharing while I was in the trial period. It didn't work. I deleted it and tried to redownload from my purchased apps (something I never had to do before as the apps just worked on both our family accounts). I have paid for Fit+ & it shows up in my subscriptions. I love the app & as I am disabled, my spouse shops more often than I do. She has no dietary restrictions. Fit makes it so easy to follow my dietary restrictions but the redownload process keeps erring out with a weird message about having deleted the app or canceled the subscription. I can download it for her to sign up individually but she has no need of it. I used sign in with apple so I can’t login to my account from her iPhone. I can’t send you a screen shot when my spouse gets home from work because your support email bounces. The only app that ever gave me difficulty with Family Sharing before was Paprika which had to be solved by the app creators rather than Apple as stated in your help documentation. Please help! Thanks in advance for your time & consideration.

  • Customer Service?!?!

They claimed after your free trial you would receive a notice for taking a payment out. Okay that’s fine with me! They never notified me and decided to take not a one month payment, BUT a ONE YEAR payment of $60! I have tried multiple times to reach out to customer service to make them aware I would like to receive my money back due to false claims. I have yet to get an email back. There is also no phone number to call. I hate that such companies take advantage of someone who has a disease that only a diet could help.
  • Love the app… but the subscription is broken

App keeps randomly telling me I am out of free scans for the month. I paid for a year … with many months left on the subscription. Beware.. check your subscription before you click RENEW!!! Is the app broken? Are unsuspecting subscribers needlessly paying AGAIN for something they’ve already subscribed to because the sub breaks 3 months in- and in the middle of grocery shopping - no one remembers exactly whether they paid for a year or not? Potentially very shady.
  • such a game changer

i love this app! it really makes eating low fodmap so much easier and less stressful. i do wish you could have more free scans each month, but the grocery search function helps mitigate that. I received Fig+ free for 6 months with their assistance program though, so i highly recommend applying for that if you can’t afford to pay for fig+

Instead of scanning you can search manually. However, they purposefully brick up their database making searching and loading take an absurd amount of time. It’s not that hard to have a searchable database. They slow it down so you want to use the scan feature, which in turn makes you want to pay their monthly fee. Terrible and slimy business/coding practices. Just stick with good and save your $8/mo.
