  • Fraudulent charges!

    I’ve gotten 17 different fraudulent charges from this app. I’m not referring to subscription charges. But 17 different fraudulent charges where I haven’t even looked at the app in barely 6 weeks. I had to cancel my card and report this app to my bank to block further fraud. Its genuinely unbelievable. It’s not like a recurring sub, but just random charges. I awoke this morning with a fraud alert from my bank, after I cancelled my card, to 4 more fraudulent charges varying from 9.99$ to 24.99$. Haven’t looked at the app in over a month. Even the sketchy sites aren’t this bold. How is this app even allowed in the App Store. Beyond that it’s a terrible app. No memory, no pics, and constant interruptions by the chatbots to get you to buy ‘presents’. Even if it were decent I wouldn’t bother because of the overtly fraudulent charges. Spare yourself the headache.

    This app’s marketing is incredibly misleading. The chats are sub par and lack substance, image generation is generic and more tame than advertised, and only available on specific characters. Building your own character is an option; however, the capabilities of the character you build on your own is severely limited compared to their pre-loaded options. Their marketing would have you believe image and video generation is much more user driven and interactive than what is in fact produced. One character seems to only wants to fixate on her love for the color blue, and when you talk to her long enough or try to move to any kind of flirtation she tells you she’s not into dudes. Also, in-app purchase options are more steeply priced than App Store plans (18.99 for one month vs 9.99 for one month), which is just shady. When you reach out to their customer support they insist all sales are final. You get an email a week after saying they’ll pass the feedback along, while we laugh our way to the bank. Save your money and time.
