I am fed up with this app. When I open the app to continue listening to an episode, it NEVER picks up where I left off. It starts at the beginning of the latest episode. When I reach out to tech support I receive the same response: log out, log back in, uninstall, reinstall. THIS DOESN’T WORK. Fix your app, fix your app, fix your GD app!

2.26 update - playing offline episodes is still broken. I basically have resorted to listening to ad supported versions via other apps for everything other than plus episodes. Therefore I don’t plan to keep my annual subscription next time it renews if offline episodes aren’t fixed by then 2.22.0 update - offline listening is still broken despite the changelog saying it is fixed. Devs- please turn off WiFi and cellular and try to listen to an entire episode- bet you can’t. App also logs you out often. And of course you can’t listen offline without logging in again which requires being online. 2.21.2 update- app is still broken if you want to listen offline. There is no way they test this before releasing. Very disappointing. I end up always listening with ads via Apple podcasts so I can listen offline. So why do I even pay? I love S&S but the app has big problems. It is impossible to listen to an entire episode offline despite it being downloaded because there is some background subscription checker that requires the internet. I understand the need to validate the subscription but it needs to be less often. Maybe if you pay by the month, check it monthly? App is also heavy on data usage even trying to listen to downloaded episodes. You also can’t access the player menu after starting a downloaded episode unless you back out to the main menu. Please fix! Also allow us to filter out played episodes

This podcast is absolutely the best of All time. You want something you will look forward to every week or day, this is for you. 100% something you won’t regret doing! Get this podcast on your phones.

LOVE the show Love the app just one small fix they should do. If I close the app. When I open it back up the episode should still be qued up. It’s fine if you’re listening to the newest episode. But if you’re listening to older ones it’s a pain to go find which one you were on. Especially a long day at work or long drive. Your lost in the great stories your not even sure what episode your on anymore. Takes forever to find it.

All the hard work that goes into the show is diminished by the hosts unnecessary comments and opinions. Show rating - good; host rating - bad.

I love the shows for the stories and production, the quality is great, although sometimes the music added in plays wayyy too long. Not sure why they add a full minute pause for music mid podcast, the dramatic effect is lost in the awkwardness. Let’s not forget to mention- Mike is a complete misogynist. He adds a lot of little comments about his personal/political beliefs (fine, it’s your show, do what you want). Unfortunately, it’s hard to support a guys show, when he talks as if he hates women. He’s die hard MAGA, no question about that. He turned off all his social media comments so that he doesn’t have to deal with the backlash. He can dish it but can’t take it.

Let me just go over my frustrations: there’s no CarPlay access. Do you ever fast forward with your headphones? We will skip to the next episode. If you get a phone call while you’re listening to the app when the phone call is over, it will close the app and not restart your position. I get regularly signed out of the app and the prompt to sign back in. There’s no way to filter for only the episodes that your subscription can access so I spend the first 20 seconds trying to find out which episode I can listen to.

Host gives mad incel energy and should probably examine that before spewing his small DE on this pathetic app.

I have tried to give this app a chance. I know that creating a new app has a lot that goes with it, but it has been out for a while and some of the issues still plague me. I deliver out in the country, so I don’t have service all the time. So you guys added download episodes. Great! Until it doesn’t let me access them because I don’t have internet. I tap my downloads and somehow I am logged out?!? Why? Then finally I get internet access again and all of a sudden I’m logged back in. Sigh. Today I was listening to an episode that was downloaded to my device, or so I thought. (It showed it was downloaded) 20 minutes into the episode, it just stops playing and I get a buffering spinning circle. At this point I’m frustrated and thinking of canceling plus because of the unreliability of this app. If I’ve downloaded them for offline playing, let me play them while offline. And let me play the whole episode. (Not to mention, this app is a data hog if you don’t have unlimited data on your cellular plan)
