Here's what our members say: “I love the way it explains why the answer is right and why the other answers are wrong. Provides you with everything you need to be able to make educated assumptions on questions you get stumped on. Passed NREMT first try, and got an A in my EMT class.” “The test questions are extremely comparable to the real deal." “The Question of the Day and the Quick 10-question quizzes made it easy to learn even when I was busy. It gives good explanations and feedback. Highly recommended!” "I used this app to study for both my EMT Basic and my AEMT NREMT exams and passed both first try! The way Pocket Prep structured the questions was a lot similar to the NREMT exam. Honestly, I recommend buying the subscription. 10/10 app!" "I passed my NREMT easily in 70 questions and this was the only app I used to study! Highly recommend this app to anyone that is studying for their NREMT exam." --- LEGAL For more information on our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, please visit the following websites: https://www.pocketprep.com/terms-of-service/ https://www.pocketprep.com/privacy-policy/

  • Passed NREMT first attempt at 70 questions!

I used this app to study after completing an EMT course to study and used it for roughly 2.5 weeks. Passed the NREMT first attempt at the minimum amount of questions and I firmly believe this app helped me tremendously. Make sure to read the notes when studying even if you get the question right!

I used this app for about 15 days prior to taking the NREMT exam. I was very nervous about the test because I heard of a lot of people failing it the first time or two and actually a few of my friends were a part of that group. After using this app daily for about 2 weeks before the big day I went in confident and passed my NREMT first try. It is worth the money and up to date with the new NREMT test as of April of 2025!! Thank you Pocket Prep!

  • NEW VERSION OF NRETM RUINED

They reorganized the subjects for the NREMT in an unbelievably stupid and counterintuitive way. They used to be so good and they were partitioned in the same way you'd go through in class, they now divided by assessment. Nobody asked for this. Definitely cancelling my premium membership.
  • Please rewrite this question

An EKG question- Review the EKG strip. The two markings on the top of the strip represent what data? I would like the question to be a little more clear on what it was asking. Something like the thick vertical lines represent what? Thanks
  • Useless as of may 7 2025

They got rid of the NREMT version that allows you to choose subjects to focus on. In the new version the only subjects are related to the assessment stages and not those of a certain subject. Ie you can’t choose between cardio or respiratory or trauma. Only primary, secondary and reassessment.
  • Helpful, but not.

Three stars because after a while the questions and answer become increasingly obtuse and obscure. It’s absolutely demoralizing to get a score of 40-50% on a quiz filled with terms, drug names and conditions an EMT would not be expected to know. I suppose this is more of an issue with the NREMT itself as there are also questions where all answers are technically correct and the reason for one option over the other is either arbitrary or centered on esoteric and advanced terminology.
