    This is a superb program. Easy to use and to customize for your own development. From beginner to advanced levels and timing the session to the exact minute, from as few as a 7 minutes up to as long as 80 minutes, you can customize every aspect of your workout, yoga flow. Pick your poses, delete ones you don’t want, add ones that you do. Keep track of your days and hours, set goals. Several different styles of yoga to choose from: Yin, Vinyasa, restorative and more. The simplicity of following along one instructor with great form, and options for voices to suit your taste. The music options are unending. And for the music that you that you like, you have an option to find it on Spotify, or search for it on Apple. I’ve built a few playlists from listening to the music from Down Dog. Lastly, Down Dog also has several auxiliary programs, hilt, Pilates, meditation, barre, even pre-natal yoga! And these all become available at the price of the one app membership — which is $59.99 as of this date: 3/18/2025. Incredible value and seamlessly made programs.

    Is it the most comprehensive workout app? No. But it’s great value, especially considering you get the yoga and meditation apps for the same low price. It’s more than good enough to get in a simple workout in the morning. What I really like is how you can customize workout setting at the start. I wish it also had kettlebell workouts. It’s a simple and straightforward app that gets the job done for an appropriate price.

    This app keeps it fresh with lots of exercise variety and allows you to customize what you want that day: harder or easier overall, focus on various body regions, more or less aerobic. There are also great presets that allow you to choose your workout focus (total body, abs, arms, glutes, aerobic, etc). This is my go-to workout app!

  • Down Dog Apps are Best Value for home Workouts

    I joined with Down Dog during COVID & have been with them ever since. I have been going to the gym for 30 years so I appreciate that I can completely customize every aspect of my workout and still only do the same one twice if I want to. TBH I have never done the Barre, and only dabbled with Meditation, for me the Yoga & HIIT is where its at. The other awesome thing is that at my age some body part will randomly stop working properly but no problem here, I can change the workout to either avoid the body part or body movement that hurts. I use it as an adjunct to weightlifting but you could get everything you need for a healthy body right here. I really appreciated the price breaks they extended to people during the pandemic and literally putting the goal of helping people be healthy before pure profit - I am a customer for life.

    I have a hard time working out everyday. With HIIT, you can set the timer for less than 20 minutes and get an intense, curated session, that will leave you sweating.
