Probably the more accurate and instrumental tool to show any drivers and potential new EV buyers what trips can be achieved. An EV road trip would not be as easy and fun without starting a plan on this app. It is a great resource for EV drivers.

How come it didn’t recognize a large EVGO station just three blocks from my address?
  • Great app! Waze support?

Fantastic app for route planning. Better than any of the first-party apps by far. If the developers could add support for opening the route in Waze, that would be even better.

It is as simple as that. I have no idea how the Tesla is so bad but it often way overestimates arrival charge. This app gets close enough so we can plan on it.

This is the number 1, most essential app to have to plan long distance trips with your EV. Been using for years
  • Great App for my EV Routing

I really enjoy the app for what it allows me to do for long distance trips, my EV has a horrible built-in navigation app, which has led me to non-functioning chargers. I have an experience this with a better route planner. I’m able to pre-program my trips, use my ODB reader to get live readings of my energy usage, and efficiently manage my car through the trip. It’s not perfect, especially with having to login after every app update to ensure the premium features for CarPlay stay functioning, hopefully they can get this fixed soon for those of us logging in through Google. I’ve used this app to go over 1000 miles for one trip and was able to report and remove certain charging companies from my profile of preferred EV chargers. You’ll definitely find that certain charging companies do not maintain their stations as well as others. Great app and worth giving it a try!
  • Great, when it works…

Purchased premium for a road trip in our EV9 for the live weather & car status but it only worked for the first leg or two of our trip. By our return journey I couldn’t even get it to sync the car’s state of charge by unlinking and linking it again and again. And even when I ultimately disconnected it and tried to manually enter our trip there seemed to be bugs leftover from when it was syncing so we couldn’t even use the app at all. Very disappointed because it’s excellent when it works and Kia’s software is worthless.
  • OBD reader functionality missing?

Edit: No, it’s just that all my saved data re: my vehicle was deleted somehow. To add the live data, you have to add a new vehicle and any additional configuration. Original Post: Within the past week I’ve noticed that I no longer have access to live data from my OBD reader. For that matter, I can’t find any configuration settings in the app that allows me to troubleshoot it. It’s like that entire section is gone/disappeared.
  • Needs a lot of work to make it worthwhile

Well I took some of the reviews as being a pretty good app for Tesla trips. Was ok at first but seems that it doesn’t interact with teslas pre conditioning and at that point becomes useless to use it as a standalone app. You still need to plan out the trip with the Tesla routing so you can precondition the battery to charge better. On our way back home the app kept us in Indiana and no matter what I did, kept us there whenever I tried planning the trip even though I was already two states away. Never notified me that it was disconnected from the Tesla API and honestly, doesn’t make sense that planning wasn’t working for a full day. A lot of work needs to be done to make it more useful for long trips and understanding the range etc. glad I only paid for a month.
