The game, terrible , you get to buy gems for lighting, or you can watch advertisements and get 20, but every time you make a move it takes at least 7 away, therefore you play for one minute after watching 2 ads . I know this game gets money for every ad. So this game is not fun at this rate.. you already make money with ads, why are you taking so many points away so you can ever finish tasks.

I deleted this game and got stuck a second time trying to lift the rug. I’m then paid for the game and stuck for a third time at the same place. Wasted $6.99 I guess.
  • iOS issue?

All I see are white squares around everything, you can’t even play the game.
  • Not compatible with iOS14.0

Was playing this just fine until I updated to iOS14. Now graphics are completely messed up in all screens except mini movies/cut scenes. Impossible to play and I wish I hadn’t purchased. If there will be an update to work with iOS14.0, I’ll be happy to update this review when everything is fixed.
  • Disappointing!

Short! And the games can sometimes be a little too challenging which ruins the flow of the game and therefore you forget what you’re objective is! What a bummer :-(

ATTENTION PLAYERS: Every month Elephant will put one of their series on sale for the entire month. This month it’s the Paranormal Files series, which is fantastic. The games are all 30% off until the end of February. For those of you who haven’t played, take advantage of the sale. Great news! Elephant now has a monthly newsletter, so you should definitely subscribe. This way when there’s a new release we will know about it! You can subscribe by contacting them via email or on Facebook. Tell your friends about Elephant. They need more players and we need more games, so it would be a win-win situation. Seriously, if you want more games, convince your friends to play these entertaining adventures! On to the game. The fatal error was fixed in a timely manner, and the only technical issue I noticed was that the map occasionally indicated available actions when none were actually present. On the bright side, the map teleported you seamlessly between locations! Fun fact: for newer players, the protagonist in this game, James Blackthorne, is one of the detectives featured in another of Elephant’s series, Detectives United. If you haven’t played, this series is one you don’t want to miss! I enjoyed the storyline in this game. Who doesn’t love a tale of obsession, unrequited love and revenge? It was a bit unnerving that the concierge resembled my late grandmother, lol! The gameplay was, as usual, fast-paced and addictive, with a plethora of tasks to accomplish at each location. It was unfortunate that the graphics were so dark and devoid of visual acuity, because somewhere along the way I missed a morphing object. At least we were provided with a side tab to assist with collectibles. It would have been preferable to have an indicator to show us when all collectibles at a particular location had been found. There was a decent variety of HO scenes, but I was disappointed by the puzzles/games. I didn’t appreciate all the mindless and boring rotational puzzles. Give us a myriad of puzzles; remember we love mazes and labyrinths and maps, cracking codes and painting. How about something novel, such as Sudoku or word puzzles or mahjong? In any event, this was a good game but it was very brief, lacking innovative puzzles, and at first had a fatal flaw. My final rating will be 3.5 stars. Kindly remember to update your reviews once you are able to complete the entire game! Happy gaming everyone!

After resetting bonus game the problem was solved. I’m sticking with 5 because I truly enjoyed this game of ghosts on an island hotel. Great music, hos, and games. Also the problem on bonus game had a quick fix for me. Spooky scenes and realistic ghosts made it more like a good scary movie.
  • Good, but BRIEF!

I finished, but did have to reload the bonus chapter when it failed to let me take the first dress piece for the concierge’s closet door. After the reload it was fine. I love this series and, while there may have been too many mini-games that were based on chance and not skill, and it was dark in many places, my issue is with how insultingly short this game was. Three of the quickest chapters I’ve ever played! You’d think that since they seem to take over six weeks to release a game now that they could at least add that 4th chapter we’re all used to.
