  • Absolutely Disgusting Greed

I give all 5 stars so people would see my comment. So, if I didn’t pass a level, I used to get the option to watch ads for two more moves, and I always did that because I refuse to spend money on this game. I didn’t spend a single cent until level 2000. But the moment I made a purchase, the game COMPLETELY removed my ability to watch ads for extra moves. Now, if I need even one extra move, I have to spend 400 diamonds no matter what. This is beyond disappointing—it’s outright disgusting. Do they seriously love money that much? No longer letting players to earn moves for free once they know I CAN spend money to purchase things. This is next-level greed. Unbelievable.

project makeover should have a thing where u can send coins and diamonds to ppl. They should also make levels more achieveable. Bc im on level 589 (SUPER HARD) and its wasting my money bc i bought seneic route and i can't even beat the level. ADD MORE TURNS

It’s a great game, my only complaint is that you only have limited lives that you can use to beat the puzzles then once you run out you have to wait 15 minutes. I HATE THAT PART

You spend so much time playing levels to get coins more then you do make overs. As the game goes on and the levels get harder the coins you have to spend get higher. Some levels seem impossible to beat so you only have the choice to spend your diamonds on level and lives.
  • I like this game but…

Ok so I bought this bc I thought it would be like the ads, but it was nothing like the ads. It was kinda fun and first, but then it got kinda boring so I deleted it.

This game is nicely made, starts you out with easier levels and helpful tutorials. You feel good about completing makeovers because there’s a strong theme of self-love and self-worth in the story lines, which is really nice. You get invested in the game pretty quickly — it’s light, fun, and positive. The levels get hard fairly quickly, which isn’t terrible, but the game is very quick to leverage your failures with the opportunity to pay real money for boosters to help you pass a level. They time a lot of things to make spending money feel urgent, and eventually, the levels get so hard that you generally have to have boosters of some kind to move on, or try many times and just get lucky. I understand that games need to make money, but I wish they wouldn’t use such blatant manipulation such as timing for urgency, and possibly add the option to watch ads instead. This part of the game soured me enough that I’ll likely move on soon, which is unfortunate, because it really is a great game.
