Description

“We believe that mindfulness is more than a form of stress relief — it can be a tool for personal growth, deeper understanding, vibrancy. More than a way to disconnect — it can be a way to feel a part of something bigger. More than simply silence — it can be immersive, beautiful, moving.” –Raed Khawaja, Open Co-founder & CEO Regulate your nervous system with Open. Bridge science and spirituality to cleanse your body and mind. Learn breathwork, meditation, and movement techniques designed by experts in neurobiology. Practice on the app and in-person at our flagship studio in Los Angeles. CLASSES BREATHE: Since the dawn of civilization, humans have developed techniques for manipulating our breath to induce desired states of consciousness. Now peer-reviewed studies in neuroscience and psychology confirm that breathwork is a powerful toolkit for regulating your nervous system, optimizing your health and well-being, and catalyzing personal transformation. Breathwork is an umbrella term for myriad practices, both ancient and modern. While many techniques are deeply rooted in spiritual traditions like Yoga, Qi Gong, and Buddhism, contemporary applications integrate ancient wisdom with modern science. This synthesis of ancient and modern has given rise to transformational breathwork, designed to induce profound experiences of catharsis, insight, and breakthrough. Experience a mental reset with just a few minutes of conscious breathing. MEDITATE: Train your awareness and contemplate wisdom – with techniques that span generations, cultures, and traditions – with our daily meditations and monthly programs. Learn how to enhance your focus, reduce your stress and anxiety, and regulate your emotions with simple mindfulness techniques you can incorporate into your daily life. MOVE: Our methodology is designed through the intelligence of fitness – blending endurance, strength, mobility, and recovery – with the wisdom of mindfulness. A ritual for resilience, strengthening the body and mind. ANYTIME, ANYWHERE: Practice on your time with our endless library, with fresh classes added daily. From simple 5-minute breathwork techniques, to 60-minute strength and conditioning classes, build your practice to fit your schedule and meet your goals. Whether you’re starting your journey or seeking a new challenge, there are classes for every level and mood. PROGRESS TRACKING: Create a daily habit that sticks with progress tracking, push reminders, streaks, and badges. A consistent breathwork and meditation practice has proven to reduce cortisol levels and regulate the nervous system–decreasing stress, supporting emotional well-being, and enhancing mental clarity. These techniques can also improve physical health by increasing heart rate variability, promoting cardiovascular health, and boosting immune function. CONNECT WITH US Questions? I discovered Open about 3 years ago and made it part of my morning ritual. I do the meditation, breathwork, and sound every day. The rare times I skip a day, I notice it and my day feels off. I noticed my life has gradually become more peaceful, I feel more grounded, loving, and open to new experiences. I often use the sleep meditations at night or if I wake up in the middle of the night. It works every time. Please just try this app, even for the generous free trial. You won’t regret it. It’s worth every penny and you owe it to yourself.

I have been struggling with finding the right meditation for me. I have lived with anxiety and depression for a long time and traditional medications don’t feel good in my body. I resisted meditation for far too long and started exploring it via various apps. This by far has been the MOST helpful in calming me, regulating my emotions and reversing my need to lash out when overstimulated. I’ve been a kinder mom, wife and much kinder to myself. I will forever use this app and be grateful to all those who made it.

It keeps trying to charge me $150 when I haven’t even done the trial!!!! And since I never actually activated anything - there is no option to cancel- but every week there is an attempted $150 charge! Very annoying!

I have done the nervous system reset, and am now starting the becoming magnetic program. I love the voices, I love the sounds, I love the quotes and the message. Open has got it right. ❤️

I mean it - nothing compares to Open and I’m so happy to be back. It’s a little pricey, which led me to search around, but all I’ve figured out is that the price is absolutely worth it. The experience is so unique and engaging, I truly feel connected during sessions and enveloped in the practice. If you’re on the fence, it’s worth every penny.

I downloaded this up with a free trial period but then I realised that I don’t want it, I didn’t even sign in to try exercises. And right away try to delete subscription, but couldn’t find cancel button anywhere. ANYWHERE. So I assumed that there is no subscription. I today I’ve noticed that my bank charges me for this for 2 month and now I need to cancel it through the bank. The the **** I can cancel it??????!!!!!!!!!!

I have had two attempts by Open Inc to charge my card for $150 subscription. I opened the app, saw the price closed the app. Deleted it and I NEVER subscribed! I did not authorize this charge! I have tried calling you to stop this fraudulent activity and I have done everything I can to contact you to get you to stop. But there is no contact information anywhere. I’ve left messages at the number given when you try to charge. I left multiple messages and you don’t return the call! Do not download this app! This is just wrong!

At first I really liked this as the meditations were smooth and simple. But they began to get repetitive and were not long enough to go deeper. Half of the ten minute meditation was listening to someone talk. I liked the self meditation timer but it was very buggy, sometimes doesn’t work, crashes the app and overheated my phone. Then they updated it with a 30-minute time limit. Also the background sounds available were terrible loops of non-soothing sounds. Overall, I liked learning new techniques and it was a good jumpstart to get back into my practice, but ended up being boring and annoying.
