Description

The Anova Precision® Oven is the first combi oven with pro-level features designed specifically for the home cook. Paired with the Anova Oven app, you’ll enjoy a fully connected cooking experience and the most advanced features of the Oven. Break out of your everyday cooking routine with inspiration from the step-by-step recipes developed specifically for the Anova Precision Oven. With the connected app, you can start cooking with a single button press and the Wi-Fi enabled Oven will preheat to your recipe’s recommended settings. As your food cooks, you’ll be able to keep an eye on your timers and food probe readings remotely, and notifications will alert you when it’s time for the next hands-on step. If you want to cook freestyle, you can create your own multi-stage cooking programs in the app. Define the oven settings for each stage of cooking and the transitions between stages to build stress-free, no-compromise recipes for all of your favorite foods. Your cook history is stored automatically so you can replay your past cooks, or share your recipes with the community. Features: - Explore our library of recipes created specifically for the Anova Precision® Oven. These recipes span meals, cuisine types, and cooking techniques to educate and inspire you to create your new dishes. - Learn step-by-step techniques by following along with clear photos and easy-to-read instructions from top recipe creators. - Start cooking any recipe with a single tap. The cook settings are sent to your oven directly. - Quickly convert recipe/packet settings to use in the oven or save as a full recipe, including ingredients, steps, and oven settings converted for the Anova Precision® Oven. Monitor your cook by watching real-time temperature and timer readings. View the oven’s temperature and steam settings, and even monitor the core temperature of your food when using the included food probe. - Go freestyle with manual cooking. You can start cooking from the app or from the oven itself without relying on specific recipes. - Make adjustments on the fly. If dinner is ready but you’re not, add a holding stage to your cook so your food remains at its best. - Create multi-stage recipes. Most foods have multiple cooking goals, like achieving juicy meat and crispy skin. Separate your cooking into multiple oven stages to optimize for each goal, like the pros do. With full control over oven functions and the ability to transition automatically based on timer or probe targets, true multi-stage, combi cooking is finally available for home cooks. - View your cook history. It’s like having a DVR for your Oven — recipes and manual cooking sessions are automatically saved to your history, making it easy to revisit your favorites. Try all the features free for 14 days. Options in-app for monthly or yearly subscription terms. Payment will be charged to the iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the renewal cost will be identified. Subscriptions may be managed by the user, and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable. I will not be recommending Anova products in the future to anyone. I refuse to recommend products that costs hundreds of dollars that require a subscription for full functionality.
  • No option to connect the oven.

Anne again the Anova geniuses deliver something without testing. The Anova Oven app when trying to connect the Oven 2.0 shows the movie explaining how to do it. But the option to scan the code is not there. The only option is to cancel and no options to open the camera. Tried with 3 phones and my iPad. No way to connect it.
  • Greedy Company

I’ve only had the oven for about 2 months. I’ve liked it, but now they expect you to pay for a feature that was included which severely detracts from its usefulness. If they want to charge for the new hardware I can understand that. People who bought the old are getting screwed. They did the same thing with the circulator. Left old customers behind. I should have known not to trust them again but I fell for their scam. Yank away features and then expect you to pay to get them back. This is a greedy company and you should avoid them at all costs.
  • You need a subscription to use the app

We love the oven. But after having it for over a year, we launched the app this evening and was greeted to a message saying that we needed a subscription now. Anova has lost all of my loyalty and I now hate them. They are just another garbage American company trying to bleed American's dry of their money. I will NEVER pay a subscription for software. NEVER. I'd rather do without. And, I will no longer purchase from Anova.
  • Needs more organization

If you’re going to start charging a subscription, you need to do a better job of setting up your app. Your recipes should have categories to be able to browse them not just an infinite list with no exploitability at all. I want to be able to browse what you’re now charging me for it’s no longer just a nicety.
  • Converted to subscription model?!?

I bought this oven for $700 a few years ago and this morning discovered the app that is used to control it is switching to a subscription model, rendering this device I paid $700 for a few years ago basically just a giant fiddly massively overpriced toaster oven. I will never buy anything made by Anova ever again. I have invested over $1k in Anova equipment, never a single penny again. What absolute contempt they have for their customers. A subscription to use an oven controller app for an oven that costs this much, and only after you’ve sold the customer the oven? Should be illegal. Really should be illegal.
  • Horrible hardware. Poorly written app

On my third oven. Due to poor choice of components the WiFi never works. The app is a UX nightmare. And now a subscription? Anova won’t be around in a year. Save your money and time.

I bought the Oven 1.0 shortly after release. It worked great until the WiFi module stopped working. Luckily, I could still use the app for recipes, and use the physical controls to run the oven. That is until I opened the app to find I would need to purchase a subscription for something I already own. No thanks Anova, I’ll just remove this from my network permanently and delete the app. You’ll also never convince me to buy another one of your products. Great product, awful company, awful business practices.
  • Have to turn it off manually

The same way I can have the oven go from one stage to another. I should be able to have it turn off automatically. Basic functionality that I can’t do in the oven or in the app.
  • Inconsistent Connection

Inconsistent connection to oven. Try to change stages and it says connection error even though the temp and timer are accurate. Used to be better.
