The iPhone app UX is not intuitive enough to leverage out of the box. I spend more time on YouTube tutorials than working on the code. I appreciate what it can do and I’m excited for what I can accomplish with this tool, it just feels like either I’m not experienced enough with fingers on the keyboard coding and/or an iterative improvement cycle could make this an even more powerful tool. Thanks!

The best place to review PRs may not be the back of an uber, but it feels like an awesome place to squash and merge. I have to thank the GitHub team for making software collaboration exciting.

Reviewing PRs on phone is a little awkward, but very handy. I only wish it had feature parity to the web
  • No PR across forms

I’m not sure why I would need an app for GitHub, but I thought sure I will give it try when the annoying banner splashed across the top of my Safari window. However, the most basic task, to create a PR from a forked repository back to upstream is not immediately obvious. No thanks.

You can’t even merge the PR, what is even the point of the mobile app then?
  • super useful for discussions, issues, notifications, even sometimes PR reviews

Honestly thought this would have limited utility (because what are you going to do on GitHub on your phone really) but it’s very well implemented

Gave them a few years to make this app usable. Still isn't. Star and fork counts in repos are wrong (missing / all zeros). Showing I'm in zero orgs -- I'm in 3 or 4. Can't search is repositories in the home view, but can in seemingly the same view but arrived at from your profile.
