  • Good, streamlined layout

    New layout makes it easier to find content. I listen to podcasts in the app almost daily and it’s easy to switch from video to audio. With this update, ads are playing for members which didn’t happen in the last version. Part of the reason I became a member was to avoid the ads I heard through the free podcasts.

  • V3.0.1 issues

    I am a paid subscriber that loves the content. Getting better from 3.0, but getting to the audio stream is more involved and requires a short time of watching the video stream. On mobile data this is more onerous for me and costly for others. Also, I am a paid subscriber and dont want to listen to all the ads! Get me access to the ad-free version!

  • New App Fail

    The original MVP app was recently refactored and redesigned, but was not ready for release. It’s frustratingly unstable and crashes mid-show, doesn’t remember your place, and now what used to take 5+ clicks to get to the desired content now takes 7+. UPDATE: DW dev team contacted me, letting me know they were aware or the crash issue and thanking me for the navigation criticism. Good team! Will update the rating pending the next release. UPDATE 2: Latest update to the app is not crashing as frequently, but still crashing multiple times during live broadcasts when pausing/resuming. It still loses your place after a crash.

    Been a member going on three years. Candace Owen’s and Matt Walsh definitely tied for who I watched the most. This is not including Jordan Peterson of course. With Candace exist I wanted to cancel but you offered a deal I couldn’t resist to stay. Plus we are having our first kid and I know Bent key is something we want to have. Now with Brett cooper leaving it almost feels like you guys can’t keep a female voice to save you and the fact you guys are replacing Brett but keeping her show feels wrong and almost insulting to us the viewers that the personality doesn’t matter. That you can replace someone without a thought and us women won’t notice. It’s insulting. I’m hoping within the next month you guys will make a change and bring a female voice back with her own show that conservative women can relate to because what’s happening right now is not it and I feel like I’m throwing money away on this membership. All of my female conservative voices are moving back to YouTube which is free and I already moved with them but am torn with the daily wire. This is a movement but doesn’t feel like female conservatives matter to you.

  • Latest update has ruined the app

    UPDATE: Issues fixed, the app is now significantly improved! —————————- Previously the app was ok, but sometimes clumsy. Now it routinely kicks me out of shows at random times and restarts them. It is harder to find the latest episodes (despite having a “latest shows” section that is somehow weeks behind). My paid membership is next to worthless if I can’t listen to more than 15 mins without getting kicked off. Can’t find a way to contact DW and submit any help ticket.

    I’m sorry, I don’t want to rate the app bad but this update is horrible. I love daily wire so this isn’t a reflection on them but the app is aweful. Im a paid member and it will not recognize my membership. The pause and unpause button no longer works. The app is burning my phone. I listen on two different devices and they are both over heating from the app! Please roll it back or fix this.

  • Great content - latest update stinks

    The new layout is not great and there seem to be some bugs. I can’t seem to find “continue watching” which I used frequently. Tapping the home button no longer scrolls to the top of the homepage. “Recent episodes” doesn’t seem to include the latest episode. Several instances of clicking an episode and it only being 5 seconds long. Embedded pictures and videos aren’t showing up in the articles…probably more but that’s a start.
