See your route on a map, or try our route optimizer to automatically rearrange and plan your route to save travel time. See estimated times & distance traveled between places to make sure it all fits, and total time and distance traveled for a given day to make sure you’re not driving too long. Plus, you can add unlimited stops along your road trip for free. COLLABORATE WITH FRIENDS For group travel planning, add your tripmates with their email address or by sharing a link to the itinerary. Like for Google Docs, everyone can collaborate in real-time. Set permissions and choose whether people can edit or just view your travel plans. STAY ORGANIZED Access flights, hotels, and attractions in one app. Forward flight and hotel confirmation emails to import them directly into your trip plan, or connect your Gmail to automatically add them. Prefer to keep high-level plans? Make generic lists like ‘Things to do’ and ‘Restaurants’ you want to eat at. Traveling on a tight schedule and want to create a detailed itinerary? GET INSPIRATION & INFORMATION For each place, see key info like a description and picture of the place, average user ratings with links to reviews, opening hours, address, website, and phone number. Super pushy to get you to set up emails and collect data from you. Let me put in what hotels I plan on staying at without forwarding you 3 emails. The first thing you ask me shouldn’t be “how did you find us” it should be “look what we can do” then when you show what you can do they’re all completely irrelevant to my use case. Bloated and over developed.

I am currently planning a bucket list trip to Japan, and this app has been AMAZING. I haven’t even upgraded to the paid features and I still feel like it has incredible capabilities. Much better than other itinerary planning tools I’ve tried.

  • Too Full of Itself

I downloaded this app to see what it was all about and if it could help me with an upcoming trip. But it’s so full of pages announcing how great it is that those became obnoxious and too distracting. One less app to take up space on my phone.

I have only used the free version of wanderlog, but MAN this app is so good!! This makes me never want to plan without it again. Makes it so easy to make lists of places you want to visit on a trip, and then can recommend an optimized order to go on. I haven’t used the optimized order, but used to plan in google docs / apple maps to have a map view of the places i have saved - this seamlessly combines those methods of planning in one place, and can even import your flight information and hotel / airbnb stay! It’ll show you how far things are from each other and you can select if you’ll be walking, driving or taking public transportation. That’s so helpful when trying to pack a trip with things to do but wanting to make sure you’re not overplanning. They can even provide recommendations of things to do in your destinations. Won’t even plan a trip without wanderlog ever again.
  • Almost there

Feels like it’s almost there. I wanted to create an itinerary with several non flexible reservations and fill the rest of the day with things that didn’t have reservations, so when you enter everything for the day and click optimize, it seems to completely ignore the time frames. Like we have drinks at 5pm and then dinner somewhere else at 8 pm and four other things we’d like to do that day that don’t require reservations, if I just dump those items into the itinerary and click optimize, the routes and order of places to visit makes zero sense. Also the interface feels incredibly busy with too much irrelevant data

Look. I’m trying to get into the app. Let me skip the tutorial and the pop quiz and just let me do what I want to do.
