  • waste of time

app is so slow I won't ever waste time again forwarding my bookings to it when it's faster to simply open gmail and search. also their post-trip feedback mail link redirects and ends up to google website. replying to that mail bounces back. I'll keep the app only for historical personal reference of my past trip (or simply export to pdf then delete it).

It seems to freeze up sometimes and needs to be reset to work again. Slightly frustrating. Also is there a way to get a boat / cruise line option added for travel (also flight time)? I know it only shows bus, car, and walking time, but if we input two airports or two piers are we able to get generic travel time by that mode?

This app makes trip planning so convenient especially when going with a group! You can see all of your destinations on a map to plan the best route and organize events into a schedule so everyone knows what is planned for that day. 10/10 would recommend and will use for all future trips.

I love this app. It’s really great for updating itinerary, flights dollars spent, places to see. Ask #1: What I would also love for the app is to have an import function from social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) that will save places and map it out for you. Similar to how the recipe organizer apps will read a video and upload the ingredients and map out a meal or recipe plan in categories. Ask #2: can it be separated into categories and you can move (say a restaurant) to a day on your itinerary? Sometimes I like to have multiple restaurant option OR have a few choices of night clubs to go to for after dinner cocktails. Ask#3: is there a way to map out where to go which days of your trip to maximize travel time. Think uber driving meets map my ideal vacation. Ask#4: Also I can’t figure out how to manage my group of people if they haven’t logged into the app. Is there a way to manually add them so I can set how much they spend, this way (oh another idea) it can notify the person what is owed at the end of the trip via app, iMessage, WhatsApp etc?

I’ve used Wanderlog to plan a few trips now and it’s made a big difference. Before, it was easy to feel overwhelmed trying to find a starting point and organizing everything in one place. Now, I feel more prepared and at ease because I know that I have access to others’ travel guides, I can keep an ongoing list of places that interest me, I can see it all on a map and start scheduling my itinerary based on the proximity of the places I want to visit, and I can keep all my travel information in one place. I appreciate how well-organized it keeps me. Generally on a trip, I’ll check Wanderlog and feel out the day. I find a lot of joy in balancing the organized with the not so organized. Wanderlog keeps the organized part of my brain happy.

App seems to have a motive different than mine. I needed simple guidance to finding good shopping areas and other interesting things that are not so touristic

I’m usually not one to leave a review, but I feel like this app deserves it. I’m extremely satisfied with this app and I highly advise people who travel to use this app. Especially if you travel with others or just like to have everything in one place. There’s a premium option that’s $32 for a year and if you think you like the benefits I’d go for it. However without doing the premium the app works wonderfully alone. I am able to add everything that I need for my trip and it’s all in one place. You can make a travel list, add flights, rentals. You’re also able to add places you want to go to the itinerary and then once you’ve added the place you get the details and links to the website plus you can see when places are open or closed. It takes a moment to learn the basics but they keep it quite simple and give you the information you need to use the app bit by bit as you use the app. The ability to share it with others and keep all expenses in one place makes this an even more amazing app for travel, THAT you can split expenses with other people you’ve added to the trip.
