SEARCH Gitfox features powerful full-text and prefix search. And with intelligent highlighting your search matches in the log, diff or filename pop right out. IDENTITIES Working on multiple projects or even across different organizations? Gitfox lets you manage multiple identities easily and set per-repository defaults. • Best Git Client for Mac

    5

Gitfox is the best native Git client for Mac that I’ve been able to find. It offers a robust tree view, drag-and-drop commands, and advanced functionality like rebasing. Best of all, it’s available on the Mac App Store! There are a few missing features, though. In particular, it would be amazing if Gitfox supported Command-Z/Command-Shift-Z undo/redo and a better interface for long-running tasks. I frequently push to Git remotes that build the code as part of the push process and stream build logs through the local standard output. Unfortunately, Gitfox doesn’t display multi-line logs for push commands, so I have to rely on the command line in this scenario. An Xcode-like timeline of recent commands and their full logs would be a great addition. To the developer, keep up the great work, and I look forward to future improvements!
  • What Free Trial & Access to Home Folder

The free trial button didn't work, it just kept "clicking" over and over again. What's more offensive is that it requires access to your whole home folder. All my git projects are in one folder so you don't need to see all my stuff. Allow us to choose just one folder to grant access to, rather than "All your home folder or Quit Now". The screen shots do look very nice.
  • Some steps backward

The UI takes some steps backwards in the 2.0 release. In particular, the commit message window is now in a modal, which means you can no longer review changes while you compose the message. Not good, and that alone may push me to look at other clients.

This Git client has a very nice data display, making it easy to track down the tangled path of my development on verious projects. It's visually very clear, has everything you need in one place, and just feels cozy and handy throughout the day's workflow. Very nice work!

One minor thing developers forgot to mention: IS NOT FREE. Simple cannot stand those who impose to consumer by forgetting to mention very important info. I wanted to buy licence is not that i was looking for Free solution but made me upset when I figure lie.
