Penguin Isle

I’ve played for 5 years. Started out on Android and switched to Apple. I love penguins. I have all the habitats and have maxed out the hearts on several habitats. But now there and no real updates, same process just slightly different penguin. Also, most of the ads are broken. I let the ad play but cannot exit out of the ad, so I have to completely swipe out of the game. It’s just frustrating and sad at this point.

Been a dedicated player for 5 years, and feel compelled to write a review. Here's the good: beautifully created, the penguins are adorable and creative! I love the design, the different themes, and the background music is quite relaxing. Here's the bad: Once you have reached a certain "size" in your penguin world, It's absolutely impossible to advance to have enough gold to get "Danger Shore" level. It's impossible to expand your capacity to actually place the created items (trees, etc). One simply continues to purchase "packages" for whatever theme is available to try to earn enough gold to reach the next level. For example: I Stopped playing for a year, after seeing the only way to continue to raise enough gold to reach the next level was to keep purchasing the in game packages. Initially needed to reach the "az" level, 1 year later there's no improvement - only to see the required gold is now "37.17ba". So today, I used a 7 day gold production ticket, 12 - 1 hour production coins, one 6 hour. I only reached 22.12ba. Next, having to "upgrade" my penguins so they will actually do work, it brought my gold down to 7.78az. Wth? What a waste. Incredibly frustrating. Overall the game is initially wonderful! But I'm sad to say, after 3-4 years, it's really only a creative way to throw away money.

At first, this seems like a great game where you build an island of penguins. BUT THEN, as new habitats get more and more expensive, your penguins can’t produce enough gold. The way to get around this are research quests which give you upgrades for completing tasks, including treasure ship summoning, where you watch an ad to get gold. So in order to play the game, you must watch ads. I reached a point where I was watching more ads than playing the game. And then I realized, the gameplay IS watching ads. The penguins have deceived you.

I really enjoy the game but the recent hunting addition makes the game not fun. I do not like guns and don’t understand why cute harmless penguin would kill the, Please never do this again.

I just started playing and I’m enjoying my time playing this game, I love how they included different kinds of penguins and it’s so unique how you make your own penguin town! Sadly it takes time and you need some money if you want to finish fast

I absolutely love penguins and it’s hard to find any penguin games. I have been playing this game for years and it’s so much fun, i have so many penguins and they all look so cute!!! I love watching them interact with eachother and with the decorations you build. I’d give 100 stars if i could!

i play this game nearly everyday, I love love love collecting all the little penguins from the events. They are so cute, boyscout penguin is my favorite.

This is a really good game I hope this doesn’t die like some other games. This is a really short review but that’s my opinion on the game.
