  • Focused on arguments

I like the app, I’m glad we got it. However, of the two daily questions, one is always focused on arguments/“fighting.” I do believe the ability to disagree respectfully as well as the ability to repair well is critical to a healthy relationship, but this is overkill. There’s no time to work on improving when we receive another question on the same topic every day. As a long-distance (spend 1-2 weekends a month in person), this is overkill. We’ll keep it the year that’s already paid, but I doubt I’d re-up.

i went off to college 5 hours away from my love so we wanted to find a way to connect aside from phone calls. it’s helped us a lot with new conversations and learning more about each other, but i wish it was more inclusive to couples who aren’t having sex. my boyfriend and i are both waiting until we get married. we have no problem with having conversations about intimacy but having our daily quizzes taken up with topics like our sex life, and freaky desires is not what we were hoping for. i’d love to see a setting where you can manage the topics that show up daily. like just flipping a switch and no more spicy questions. then it would be perfect

When we first downloaded this, most prompts were free and some others you had to pay for the membership. It was great and fun! Now all prompts force you to buy the membership, so you can’t use the app at all without purchasing something. Way to ruin another great free app!

    Beautiful way to communicate
  • Too many pop ups (not ads)

The constant request to enable notifications and other pop ups are very annoying. Acceptable app otherwise.

The app has really brought us closer because it has us talking about things we either haven’t thought of, haven’t talked about or have been apprehensive to bring it up. I did purchase for a year and think it’s well worth it. My only complaint is that I wish there was always an option for “other” and once you clicked that, it would have a spot for you to add what that “other” is. Even on the quizzes. We’ve found that the choices they’ve provided don’t apply to us, but without the “other” option & a place to make it specific for us, we have to choose something that neither of us does. Otherwise, we do enjoy the app and it has absolutely enhanced our relationship. He wasn’t thrilled in the beginning about starting it, but says now it’s opened our communication more and he likes that. He’s also excited about his streak 😁
  • Can’t Do Anything Without Payinh

The app has so much potential to be better, but everything requires you to pay the premium membership. Without it, you get one free question a day. Anything else you see in the ads requires you to pay to have it.
  • Not Accessible with VoiceOver

I was really looking forward to trying Paired with my husband. Sadly, the app is not accessible with VoiceOver so my husband (who is blind and relies on VoiceOver to navigate apps) is unable to use this app. Inclusivity is so important. Please do better.
