  • Lots of drama options

    I’m also a subscriber if Vicki Ratuken, but wanted more options, so I chose IQIYI. I’m happy about being able watch more C-drama. The only con is there are no trailers to watch before choosing a drama, and you have to join VIP to watch the good dramas. Also, too many ads that pop up every time you pause or log into the site even though you’re a VIP member. All in all, I learn to navigate it.

    The app freezes up all the time. I bought premium VP and can’t fluidly watch shows without it freezing. If you backtrack a few times the app shuts down.

    I wanted to watch the move I.T chapter 1 and it said to download this app to watch but it’s just anime. and I don’t want to watch ts. like get off of MY wi-if , n this ask to much questions bro. and it said it has lots of movies not lots of ANIME. movies. I don’t want it , and don’t like.

    I signed up for VIP and service is great . Access to fantastic Cdramas . Easy download that I do before I travel . I’m happy. I know people complain that so much is VIP. In my opinion it’s worth it

    Iqiyi has great content.I have no issues with the offerings but it constantly buffers. If you watch any length of time,it starts to spin while watching a show.I wish they would fix this issue because it happens every time you watch a series.

  • Great shows but not user friendly

    This app has a lot of good shows but the functions of how the app works is horrible. Not very user friendly. 1. The phone app is soooo different from the tv app and not in a good way. Barely any option but only to watch. 2. You can’t even look at the info of the show only can see a little bit and their is no option to see more.the only option on the tv app is to watch literally no other function can be used on the tv app and that’s a problem when I’m paying more money. This is so confusing to me. 3. The app feels like is really obsessed with the vip packaged but the app itself does not feel well put together, If I’m going to be paying more money I should feel I’m getting my money worth and I don’t feel like I am other then commercial free. 4. when I couldn’t sign into my app on my tv I connected my phone to my tv to watch and the quality was awful the color the picture and the subtitles were not working. 5.this is my second time trying to use this app I canceled my subscription last year because the app was so bad and not well put together. I was hoping to give it time to come back and the app would be better but it’s still exactly the same so I will probably gonna cancel again and just stay with Viki and try other Asian drama app unfortunately.

    Just to be clear I am paying for VIP so not rating the free version. I am rating the app itself not the movies/series selection. There is sooooo much variety on this app and if rating the selection and variety i’d give it a 10. So many series are exclusively on iQIYI which is why I wanted the app. BUT unless you want to watch what they deem to be the ‘top’ searched or rated series then you have to know the title. There isn’t a way to just browse through a large variety… it’s the same series/movies over and over again. And out of the 50ish top series about half is BL. BL is fine but not my cup of tea and every other show is a BL drama. Also when you click on a series to look at the description, see who is in the series and watch the trailer, ep 1 starts automatically playing which clogs up the watch history. And most series have no trailer which is how most people determine if they want to watch a series or not. Viki is much more user friendly but less variety BUT looking through their categories shows way more series/movies. Also i hate that when I search and actor or actress it doesn’t list the movies they are in. I’m searching them bc I want to see what series or movies they are in 🤦🏻‍♀️
