A few bugs here and there with updates, but extremely helpful study app!

I really enjoy this app, I love how it tells me when an answer is right or wrong. $20 a month seems a little high, especially when there are bugs. Every time I submit a quiz it tells me there was an error and to try again. However I have not found another app like this.

This app helped immensely in my study time. After having gone through the whole ACE CPT textbook, I relied mostly on this app to help me prepare for my exam. It was so helpful in showing me where I needed to focus more, where I was already doing well, etc. I love the ability to flag questions I want to revisit, that was a huge help. Cannot recommend this strongly enough 👌🏻
  • Overall Good Study App

Overall, the app works well. The issues are small. Specifically for the TSACF, If you flag a question once, it remains that way even if you unflag it and it won’t count towards your correct ones. There are many questions that are either incorrect, have questions with multiple of the same answers within the answer bank, the book references do not align and for some questions, are outdated. But for the most part great product.

The questions are definitely based off of the study material from ACSM resources for the personal trainer, but when I took the ACSM-CPT exam there were a lot more application questions. I wish the app had included a few more application questions especially surrounding chapters 14-16 of the 6th edition of the book. Overall still really helpful though!

I used this app to supplement my studying for the NSCA CSCS exam. I mastered all of the questions and took all of the mock exams. This exam was very helpful for reinforcing the concepts in the Essentials of Strength and Conditioning textbook.

I feel like I crammed at some point because I was slacking on the amount of questions I was studying per week. But, the questions cover a great range in material. The mock exams were great at simulating the actual testing experience. The app’s beta version of the level up feature was nice, but I found myself using the app’s isolation of certain topics was a huge factor in creating confidence in my harder subjects. Missed questions are also another addition that helped ingrain the more memory based numbers. Overall, this app can be all the studying you need, but I did have a huge chunk of the education from my undergrad teaching straight from the book itself!
  • Passed the test

I studied with Quizlet before taking my first NASM CPT test-after reading through the textbook and taking notes- and failed. Quizlet did pretty much nothing to help me when I took the test. So I went ahead and payed for a subscription with Fitness Prep, studied all of the questions and used all three mock exams, and passed! The questions on Fitness Prep are very similar to the ones on the test. I highly recommend this app to anyone studying for there CPT!
  • E really great but some questions contradict the book

One question asked about the three different planes and instead of using the ubiquitous term “transverse” the question used the word “cornel” - NO WHERE on page 26 is the word “cornel” used to describe transverse. Stop with the “gotcha” questions!

It helped. It may not have identical questions as the final exam. But it helps you get a good idea of the information you need to know. The practice exams are hard, they are pretty similar to the final exam. Good luck!
