Would like the ability to extend floodlight and video time when motion is detected.

Doesn’t record consistently and specified “smart notifications“ doesn’t work. I am paying for subscription and not getting any worthwhile notifications. I have 2 cameras directly facing the street with one of them main focus is my driveway activity, as I currently have ongoing construction work in my neighborhood and the workers were parking in my driveway when I am not home. I have missed so many emergencies that was supposed to be captured, only to see the other cameras in my backyard recording moving leaves instead, even when I turn off “all other motions”. I am deeply disappointed with this service and the equipments.

Ever since I updated the app I am unable to get any of my old videos and I can’t connect to any of my three cameras!! This is ridiculous.

I got this security camera because someone broke into my outdoor storage closet and stole my bike. With a subscription, this product works great. It can detect animals, humans, cars, etc., and whenever it detects motion, it will notify you so you can check the live feed and see what is going on. It also records the feed so you can reference it later. The app will save a certain amount of footage based on your subscription. After your free subscription, however, things go downhill. At the outset, figuring out pricing is convoluted. When I was at the store, the product details were vague about whether there was a subscription service and how much it would cost. And despite referencing their infographics, it was not clear what the base version does compared to the regular and premium subscriptions. Without a subscription, you lose almost all functions. And while that may be standard practice, the camera/app becomes *incredibly* annoying. Because the camera loses its enhanced identification/notification feature, it will notify you of anything: a change in lighting when the clouds cover the sun, a small bug flying by, rain droplets coming down from the roof, etc. And every time it detects “motion,” it sends you a notification. In contrast, when you have a subscription, you can select what you want to be notified about (I filtered everything out except for people). Because I can no longer filter what I am notified about, I am bombarded with notifications. And because I am paranoid about someone getting into my apartment, I am constantly checking my phone to see what is going on. In almost all instances, the camera detected “motion” when there was nothing of concern. Because I get so many notifications, I am tempted to turn them off, but that defeats the purpose. Without a subscription, the camera is like the boy who cried wolf. I understand certain features need to be behind a paywall, but the camera should not become borderline useless if I don’t get a subscription. At a minimum, the enhanced motion detection/notifications should come with the base version of the camera so you can be notified of your biggest concern: a person trespassing. As it stands, the model feels predatory because obviously, you want to protect your home—especially after an incident. I am considering researching other products to replace this one because frankly, I should not have to pay $100+ per year (if that is even the right price—it is still unclear) to have a basic notification system. I would not recommend this camera if you do not want to pay a subscription.

Not intuitive at all compared to the previous version. I want the old version back!! Might just cancel
