  • Great Savannah Tour

This was a great tour of Savannah. It was informative and funny. Kept the interests of both my 17 and 10 year old. Not too much walking, but just enough to see all the squares and learn a little along the way.

Corrupt! I bought this in English and it was delivered in Chinese! I sent a help request and they said I could search and find the English version, pay for it and take the tour. By then I was half way through the tour. There was no mention this tour description that it was in Chinese! Do not support corrupt software distributors!

We bought our Freedom Trail tour. Downloaded it. I clicked on it as we got to the beginning of the trail. Nothing. It just says your intro is loading. We tried it at least 10 times. I emailed the company and didn’t hear anything back. It wasn’t expensive- only $6- but totally annoying that it wouldn’t work. I just tried it again - 10 days later, and it sirloin won’t work.

On a whim, my wife and I snagged the WalkNTours tour for one of our stops on our East Coast vacation and had such a fun time with it that we purchased more for further stops. The app works great, the narration is well done and informative, and we very much enjoy being able to take tours at our own pace. Worth the price!
  • Walkntours Tour of GamlaStan was awesome

Walkntours rocks. We took the tour of Gamla Stan in Stockholm. Loved that we were on our own, not one of the roving mobs of tourists. We will definitely use this app in other places.

Was on a trip and was doing some tours around the city. After a slight technological difficulty, the team helped me work around the difficulty so that I could enjoy the wonderful tour.

We had a great time walking and learning about Portland. Lots of fun photo ops. We stopped in at Kelly’s Irish Pub and the staff there were so friendly. The manager gave us a tour of the cigar room and the upstairs event space. Really cool spot and great beers. The line for Voodoo Doughnuts was short so we had to stop and give it a try. Did not disappoint.

We love doing a city tour any time we visit a new place. We were headed to Portland, OR and I couldn’t find anything that looked good for us and our kid, since a lot of the local tour options were brewery-based/21+. I somehow stumbled across Walkntours and decided to give it a go. We all really enjoyed the tour! It was a good mix of history, photo-ops, and food stops. The amount of walking was manageable and the pace was right on point for us. Looking forward to trying the San Francisco one next.

We bought two audio tours for Selma, AL National Historic Trail. We could not find an address to put in GPS of the starting location of tour. My friend emailed the address from our confirmation and were given the wrong address and then a a screenshot of a location in Boston. We finally learned that the starting address is inside the tour once you open it. We had not started tour yet because we weren’t even there. It would make much more sense to include the address of the Depot (where tour starts)in the confirmation email. Another comment: when we finally found the Depot we went inside to use restroom. The docent there was upset that this app is making money off the history of Selma when they have the NHT signs and QR code with same/similar tour for free. So bottom line, if you want to learn more about Bloody Sunday, I recommend talking to the locals and stopping in the Southern Interpretive Center for maps of key sites.
