great interface, intuitive setup and categorization making it instantly useful. requests: - see a list of the rules that a user creates, and be able to assign rules to the categories. so i can set one or more toggleable rules that a category would automatically collect in a bucket - option to use one or more regex like expressions to determine rule filters for above to capture different/evolving variations of transaction names on bank sheets
  • Not worth the $ IMO

Constantly have to recategorize transactions. It’s not very smart with clues in the names to figure out what is what and messes up common company names into wrong categories. Also no apartment way to denote “investments” as such and not some sort of “categorical expense”… which is not quite the right use case. It is helpful to have a panoramic view of where and what you are spending. Even if categories aren’t right.
  • My Only Budget App

I don’t think I’ve ever written a review for something on the App Store, but I genuinely love this one. It’s a high annual price point, but it does everything I’ve ever wanted it to do and more. It makes managing my budget a dream. 10/10, no notes.
  • Missing One Key Feature

This software is incredibly easy to use and has a nice interface. But it is missing ONE key feature and that is the ability to manually add transactions and see future balances. i.e. I want to cash flow plan and would like to post my future known transactions. This feels like a pretty basic need. I’ll have to remain on Quicken until someone can make this happen.
  • Support Excellent

I appreciate how seamless and quick the connections are to all of my financial institutions, and also how responsive support is to problems. I reported a bug last week with an issue with an a loan account that closed. I reported the bug, and the same support person had worked with me to troubleshoot it. When we couldn't solve it, supported figured out that it was an actual software bug, and it was reported up the chain to the engineers. I was told there will be a fix in a future update. I'm beyond impressed with the professionalism, speed, and responsiveness of Copilot support. I already love the app and think it's worth the subscription fee, but this just makes it feel even more valuable.
  • You pay to beta test

April 2025 update: they've addressed none of the shortcomings of this app. I carefully review and categorize every expenditure only to find that I'll have $800 in phone bills at the end of a month. If you want to find out what you are spending, you are better off using a spreadsheet or pencil and paper. I can't wait for my subscription to expire. What a trash heap of an app. Note: a plethora of recent reviews are negative and this shows this app is not what it once was. I needed a new budget program after Mint shut down and Copilot was recommended. At first, the app was fine with a few minor issues here and there. Now, after 2 months of using it, they activated their AI and it's a mess. The AI allocates your expenses incorrectly and manual changes lead to a cascade of other expenses being moved to wrong categories. Over the course of the last 9-14 days, I've spent a combined 2-3+ hours trying to fix the issues. Yes, I feel like I am paying to be a beta tester. Someone from the app reached out initially but they stopped communicating rather quickly. They are likely overwhelmed by the number of people who are reaching out or they just don't care. They have my money but hopefully they won't get yours. Please know that the app works fine during your trial because their AI doesn't come online until 1-2 months into your subscription.
  • Budgeting not great

Looking at past months and using that to form a budget is painfully difficult to set up. Also add an income budget so we can predict cash flow easier.

Unfortunately this app had a lot of promise and capability till it stop connecting to my bank accounts. Just simply stopped updating didn’t matter how many times I verified my credentials and doubled checked with my bank no luck. No clear way to get it rectified. I’ll change my review once it gets fixed. Someday
