  • A Game-Changer in Weather Apps - Don't Believe the Negative Reviews!

I'm a long-time user of RadarOmaga, and I'm shocked by the recent negative reviews. It seems that many users don't understand the app's true potential or haven't taken the time to explore its features. As someone who's used RadarScope, MyRadar, and even the expensive WVS3, I can confidently say that RadarOmaga stands out from the rest. Yes, a subscription is required to unlock the app's full features, but the free version still offers a solid weather app experience comparable to other phone-based apps. The real power of RadarOmaga lies in its Alpha subscription and Radar Sweep features. With these, you get real-time radar tilt scans as they come in from the network - a game-changer for tracking storms. Unlike other apps, RadarOmaga doesn't rely on animated sweeps or delayed radar updates. You get actual, real-time data every few minutes, which is incredibly valuable during severe weather events. Additionally, the Alpha subscription offers more playbacks, models (including GFS), dual-screen radar, and fuel screen satellite imagery. What's more, you can access RadarOmaga on your desktop or iPad, making it a versatile and powerful tool. And at just $8.99 for a one-time subscription, it's a steal. You can start and stop your subscription as needed, and still have a robust base app. Don't let the negative reviews fool you - RadarOmaga is a game-changer in weather apps. Take the time to explore its features, and you'll see what I mean.
  • Not worth the $8.99

The $8.99 version is garbage. To get the better radar you have to subscribe.

Got this app to view the live cams but have had an extremely hard time finding/figuring out the app the only thing I think I’m seeing is that you need to pay more for those features after already paying for the app wish I would have known this before the purchase I really wish I could get a refund because I feel like I’ve been scammed into having to pay for more
  • If I knew!

Welp I have been seeing this app pop up on feeds and thought let’s try it out and see. I paid 9$ for the app and can’t see much of anything I downloaded it for. They want more money to even see what my reason was for it. I say Scam and click bait. Why pay 9$ to only find out you want more money to use it. I’ll never download another app from y’all.

I really liked this app until I realized I can’t watch the hurricane that is brewing. Other apps show it, but it’s not showing at all on radar omega. I bought the app and then find I have to pay monthly to use all features. If I had known you had to purchase a subscription after purchasing the app, I would not have bothered.

I absolutely love this app. It has helped me a ton to know when the storms are about to hit me. I do have a big issue with the fact that it does not open all the way about 30% to 50% of the time. I have messaged and contacted Customer Service two or three times and they’ve been kind and help me to understand how to close it out without shutting my phone off. This should be fixed and not be happening for such a good app. I would give it a five star review if this was not happening nonstop even after I have contacted Customer Service multiple times.
  • Best app ever

Overall, this is great weather app, with lots more than just radar. RadarOmega has things RadarScope doesn’t, like manual storm tracking, live webcams, volumetric 3D radar, tropical weather tracking, model data, and more. RapidSweep is a welcome addition with the latest update, which allows you to see the radar scan in near real-time. But the app is laggy, especially when viewing volumetric 3D radar. Even with the latest hardware I found this feature almost unusable. Even doing the most basic thing (like viewing the radar) the app frequently refreshes. One second you’re looking at the radar and the next you’re looking at a black screen, then the map layers and data start to populate. There’s also little UI annoyances like there being two county lines overlays on top of each other that don’t line up. The menu is ugly and difficult to navigate; it just doesn’t look polished. I really WANT to like RadarOmega, and I will continue to use the app for those moments when I want to track a hurricane or view the latest model runs on the go, but for an everyday, reliable, stable radar app I’m sticking to RadarScope…for now.
