  • Beautifully designed app!

First time to write a review. This is the best designed app I’ve seen in years.. just one thing that bugs me: I can’t drag activities between days in the calendar view, which I think is the most efficient way to set activities dates, or you just have to manually change everything if itinerary changes
  • Really want to love Tripsy, but it's so bad

This app is beautifully simple, but the lack of Google Maps integration makes it difficult to use for trip planning. I want to switch from Wanderlog, but I need Google Maps to access location details, reviews, prices, and offline functionality. The current map struggles to find locations, which Google and Wanderlog handle easily. For the price of $40 a year—especially when other travel apps offer more features—it feels expensive. I believe $30 per year would be more reasonable. I hope Google Maps becomes an option within two weeks, as I leave for Japan in November and need to transfer my plans over. after the most recent update in October 8 it still doesn't update very well between devices
  • Best App For Travel

This app has completely exceeded my expectations and is one I would confidently recommend to anyone seeking a reliable and user-friendly solution. However, I have a novel idea that could significantly enhance its functionality for end users: the addition of customizable note options within the documents section, particularly the ability to insert checkboxes. This feature would be incredibly valuable for creating structured lists, like packing checklists, where visually marking items as completed is essential. Imagine effortlessly managing your travel essentials by simply ticking off each item on your packing list directly within the app – it would streamline organization to a whole new level. This seemingly simple addition could greatly improve the app's versatility and cater to a wide range of user needs, particularly those who rely on detailed organization in their planning.

You should not be labeled as a free app when you can only enjoy for 7 days before paying for the whole year. It’s a nice concept but I don’t travel enough to even think about it. If I did travel a lot I still wouldn’t. Immediate delete.
  • Trash UI/UX app experience

Address is inaccurate for multiple shops in Pittsburgh area. UI is all over the place, UX doesn’t make sense. It’s just so difficult to use the app!!
  • Version 3 Is Nicer To Look At But...

The visal refresh in v3 is nice. I liked the old interface but the new one isn't any worse. However, for all of the customization options in v3 I can't customize it to what I want. It now requires more clicks to see my whole itinerary (that only shows the next activity by default but there's already another section dedicated to showing only the next activity so it seems redundant, and don't get me started on the fact that I can see more than just my most recent document when I can only see my next activity in the itinerary view). When I added a new activity to a trip I wasn't entirely sure if I was adding to to a trip or just saving it for later. I'm sure the new functionality is nice but I'm struggling to re-learn how to use the app for what I was already using it for.
  • Poor customer service when you have issues.

I am a pro subscriber and have submitted multiple issues over the past two weeks, and have not had a single response from their customer service. I have tried both directly through email and their website chat/help function. When you are paying for an app, for a “Pro” product, you would think they would provide some sort of customer service.

This is not a terrible app at all. It’s very sleek, seems to run well initially, looks good, and overall does what it needs to do. The issue is the cost compared to its competition, and a hefty one time fee for those who hate subscriptions. Sadly, there are other apps that maybe don’t look as nice, but include essential features that this does not, for free.
