Honestly the cameras where good at first now they don’t even load on the app even if the internet connection is strong it just never loads. Purchase something else.

This app requires precise location permissions, and will not let you add a Bluetooth-only connected device without it. And they have the word “security” in the name.

Update: Tried installing v4.9.30. App FAILED to load!!! *** eufy support unresponsive *** ———— App will not open after updating to v4.9.20 ! Unable to access 9 eufy cameras!

Too many ads in the app

There are days where none of the events are recorded. I’ll get a notification but nothing is recorded. It’s ridiculous.

Performance has degraded for the cameras and the app. Used to work all over my property and now it will randomly refuse to work. Great support but no longer great performance.

After updating last night to the new app version all four of my S330 and my one S40 are not functioning. All say unable to play live video.

We love our four EufyCam 3 cameras and the app is great. We recently added the 2k outdoor wired camera in hopes it would replace our Google nest so we could have 24/7 continuous recording from one camera at the home. The eufy 2k works excellent and has better quality video than the nest. It does have 24/7 continuous recording. However, you can scroll through the timeline on a nest in a matter of seconds and see everything that’s happened in 24 hours. On the eufy app you can only watch each event or the timeline in 16x speed. This is much slower than simply flipping through the nest timeline… because of this we still use the nest for our 24/7 camera. We have to use 2 different apps because of this. Please update your app to be able to scroll through the timeline fast while seeing all the footage similar to the nest app. Once you do this, I will use only eufy and can recommend it to more friends and family. Tried dozens of these models. All battery items failed within months but for one. False advertising, poor batteries, I live in the desert for goodness sake. Syncing if faulty Cameras reading codes is faulty Home base syncing is faulty Do you need more? Only two devices can be logged into so you constantly have to relog into them and can not use the internet without first authorizing codes entered from your portable devices. Views are limited to one camera at a time and battery cameras will not stream but for momentary views. Best to only use plug in ones. App feedback not working on iphone but gets frozen on crazy questions and wont page down. If I had it to do all over again, would have gone elsewhere. Cameras mounted that are working will stay for now. Dont bother with the battery doorbell. Its a door buster, dead in days. I could consider their products mostly inferior and software buggy. You have been fairly warned. Ps. Data goes to the Chinese

This app is so easy to use and all of my cameras are in one spot. I can even shop from the app for new products from this company
