  • Using Plant sitter

    I really like this app and how it is open for improving to help make things easier for the user. What would I suggest is to separate your own plants from the plant sitter into its own profile instead of combining all into one. It makes this confusing and a bit overwhelming. It would be nice to switch between each profile and view their plants and my plants separately. Thanks!

    Great app for keeping my plants organized. I wish there was a merging plant option for when you repot / merge starts together. Would also be nice if there was a propagation option reminder to fill water etc.

    Wish it would include “@rotate” and “prune” reminders and does not let you adjust dates for scheduled reminders

    This morning I opened the app, checked the first plant and it needed a snooze. It has become muscle memory because the app thinks I live in a different city from the one I told it which is listed correctly in settings. Turns out snooze is different now, so I undo it and redo it to see what the new options are. It applies the snooze to the wrong plant. I undo again but they still haven’t fixed the problem where if you undo an accidental snooze the schedule is still affected. So I manually search for the second plant and mark it watered “early”. Then I get a pop up telling me snooze and scheduling work differently now. No kidding. This app has so much promise but is being held back by some executive(s) stuck in the early days of the tech boom when “move fast and break things” was seen as an acceptable strategy.

    This app is a total waste of time and money. The developer says that you can ask for refund from their support. But their support team never responds back. What a money trap!

    I’ve been having some trouble with some of my plants lately and heard about this app. I didn’t know you had to basically pay to get the best out it which is a disadvantage but it’s todays world. Other than that-it’s seems to be pretty helpful as I just got this app.

    I’ve been using this app for a few years now and my plants have are all thriving because of it. The only complaint I have is that you can’t change the schedule for progress updates.

    I’ve been using this for a few weeks. It is terrible with succulents, it thinks everything is a Mexican snowball, and it wants me to water them constantly. If I watered as frequently as this app told me to, everything would be dead. It told me to water an over watered succulent two days after I rescued it from drowning. The only reason I bought a whole year is because the one month trial was already $10. I like the concept but it needs to be much better at identifying and watering needs.
