  • Very Helpful App

I have tried many different types of Punjabi Learning courses from books to apps but they didn’t give me straightforward logical ways to retain the information. I had too many questions that never were presented as this app does. This app uses assumptions with reviews that helped me actually retain the lessons when I moved to the next lessons and exams. I highly recommend this app over any other platforms that I’ve personally tried. If you already know the Gurmukhi Oora Erra then don’t not use the transliteration aka romanized translation as I feel it is detrimental to your education. Reading Punjabi is the way to learn but the desktop version doesn’t allow to get rid of that confusing script. Gurmukhi is phonetic so do yourself a favor and don’t entertain the transliterations in romanization. Also the desktop version doesn’t sync with my phone app so when you pass lessons and exams it won’t update the phone version and you’ll have to redo those on your phone that I’ve experienced. I love this app because I’ve learned A LOT in just 16 days of using this app. Thanks for your support.

I intended to end my subscription before it auto-renewed. I believe that I was purposely misled into renewing due to a poorly worded and poorly constructed site. I will update if the company does right.

I know the words I have learned so far are accurate as my boyfriend is Pakistani. I wanted to learn Urdu but wanted a fun app like Duolingo and they did not have Urdu. I think this app is just as good if not better, I could see ling becoming number 1 for language learning in future
  • Good but only one thing that is missing

Ok so far this language app is really good but that one thing that is missing is that I only have 1 category to do for free, which is the introduction but then the rest are all pro. And every time to do a lesson the pro subscription thing shows up. Pls fix this!
  • I genuinely don’t understand why this app is so highly rated

It doesn’t explain all the words, just key phrases, then asks you what they mean anyways and what order they go in - but never explaining why it’s in that order!!! It’s just a memory game based on context clues. I want to deeply learn a language, understand why a certain word comes before the other. Makes absolutely no sense. So glad I canceled my membership.

This is the best app ever because it has many hard languages that others apps don’t have because they can’t teach them.Thank you a lot for helping me to learn better Albanian because I been messing up with my pronunciation in Albanian so thank you.

This app is a wonderful way to start your studies in Eastern European language. I thoroughly enjoyed the immersion style learning experience. Hearing native speakers helps me to practice my pronunciation. I particularly enjoy the feature which permits you to slow down the speakers’ speed to better grasp and perfect your pronunciation.

Very helpful for learning language you’ll actually use instead of that silly owl that teaches nothing helpful. Some lessons fold in too much but as long as you review, you progress. Love the variation to learn listening, speaking, and writing.
