  • Not a lot for 20 a month

    Fitness trackers are becoming a dime a dozen now and most aren’t overly special. It is well designed sure. But I’d only pay 20 dollars for this program at a flat rate but not 20 a month as a licensing fee for continued use. For that kind of money I’d expect stuff like meal options and example that fit the macros and more than just automated min/maxing.

    I love that it reminds you to eat. I love that it breaks down the macros for every meal. It’s a no brainer and easy to follow. The only thing I feel it needs improvement is when entering the macros for meals. It finds some meals but doesn’t let you choose/record how many you had exactly. For example, if you have 43g of something…it only lets you choose 40 or 50. It basically rounds. Which isn’t realistic or helpful with the tracking. MyFitnessPal is way better for recording the exact macros. Anyway, I’ll give it a second chance but unfortunately can’t record accurately on here so I’ll have to do it on MyFitnessPal.

    Super simple and takes the guess work out of what macros you need to be hitting. Lost 15 pounds across 3 cycles (2x weight loss and 1 maintenance) and gained muscle mass. Follow macros and work out consistently and boom, results. My weight-loss problem has always been working to hit the proper macros and I get lost in the programming causing me to lose track. Not so with this app. My only complaint, and this is tiny, is that there aren't really any recipes or suggested meal types. This makes it so you kind of need to have an idea of what you're doing going in. But if you're competent and aware of what macro tracking is and does, it takes so much of the guess work out.

    For such a tedious diet app there’s far less customization than I anticipated. Also diet coach and meal planner is misleading. When it spits out your diet, its just the macros and I thought for good reason that I’d have meals to follow. It stinks cause I know the people behind RP are incredibly smart.

    This app is really helping me monitor my food intake and plan my meals. I feel like There are several ui / ux improvements that could be made, where we get a little bit more freedom in changing certain things, but once you learn how to use the different screens it’s manageable.
