    You can accomplish all this app does without fees, and being forced by host to buy or donate $$. ultimately it’s HH the only one making raking in money.

    The most critical piece of the app is “messages”. You need to communicate with your host for arrival details, directions. This function has never worked on the app. You have to use a PC. Terrible.

    We used to love visiting true farms, wineries and various event venues through Harvest Hosts. At a brewery we could enjoy a beer and go “home” to make dinner. Since HH recommended a $30 purchase, we’ve had 2 bad experiences on “farms” that offered nothing, but expected us to pay them $30 to dry camp in a goat pasture, etc. Gone are the days of looking forward to staying at a Harvest Host. We’ll cancel our subscription, and visit the businesses that we have enjoyed in the past.

    Paid for a subscription via app with Apple Pay, card was charged but app says I don’t have an active subscription. After waiting for charge on card to go from pending to cleared I tried to contact customer support with no luck.

    We have stayed at farms, wineries, railroad museums, alpaca ranches and Golden Eagle rehabilitation center and ranches. All are experiences we have treasured. The owners of most HH places do this because they want to share their passions, and it makes it all worthwhile. We love Harvest Host.

    We use the HH program often. The app is very easy to use, and new Hosts join the program often. Thanks to them we have seen many cute, small town, out of the way, and fun areas and businesses that we may never have seen. They’ve recently added Escapees RV Club to the All Access plan, giving you over 1200 more discounted camping locations. Thank you Harvest Hosts!
