    I’m a people person. Meeting like minded adventurous souls while we journey the states is amazing. I like to be flexible in my travels and this makes it possible. Every host I have dealt with has made it a wonderful experience. I’ve learned a lot about the places I’ve been as our hosts are a valuable asset to get the best local experience. Information that you can only get from local intel. I can say I’ll be a member for life.

    We just drove through Iowa and most of Nebraska and we’re planning on a nice evening at a distillery along Highway 34. What a huge disappointment. We did not stay. It was pretty disgusting. The advertisement for this place mentioned spots with electricity which would have been nice on this 90 degree day. AC would have been awesome. When we pulled around the “hotel “ we saw the spots with electricity. Not only were they full, but it looked like they were living there. Trash around them and one trailer had a window AC unit being held up by a 2x4. All the doors were locked to the office and it said the distillery was open until 6. We were there at 5 and it was all locked up. We continued on not feeling safe to spend the night.

    We are using Harvest Host/Boondockers Welcome more this year. The hosts make the trip’s memorable and the spots have been BEAUTIFUL. We couldn’t be happier.

  • Brand new park with a promise

    This is a new park. The lots are very nice and there are views all the way around. They are in the process of building some nice amenities. A Sign out on the highway would make it easier to find. If you’re using Google maps use the physical address rather than the name of the park. Verizon Wi-Fi and Internet was excellent
