    I responded to 50% off offer but they double charged me. I contacted customer service but couldn’t get them to refund the extra payment. The app was good but I was disappointed I didn’t enjoy the price that was advertised.

    There’s no reason to spend this much money on video clips that you can pull from YouTube. I signed up to try to learn more about AI, and the 3 “classes” provided were cursory and not very helpful. There’s no real value here; Coursera is for sure a better option if you actually want to learn something.

    I just subscribed and streaming to Chromecast is terrible. It only streams to Chromecast not Apple and keeps buffering, stopping. Very annoying.

    they will auto-renew your subscription and charge you $72 regardless if you want it or not. their classes are also junk that revolve around famous personalities giving anecdotes that relate little to the subject.

    The masterclass app for iPhone is not user friendly at all. I hate that once you start a lesson you can’t remove from your queue, it keeps trying to play and wants to force you to watch the whole thing.

    Masterclass could use a masterclass on app and interface design. There are many successful music and movie streaming service apps that can be studied and learned from. Focus on simple back buttons, simple playlists, an intuitive homepage and main menu, watchlists, how to keep the user’s listening progress and/or easily return to a previous chapter without throwing the phone across the room. How much more convenient it would be if users could access Masterclass content through Spotify, Netflix or a phonograph… it would be a real master class. (Great content though!)

    I got pulled into the free trail and tried to cancel when I realized how basic the classes are and that you get more from the authors on YouTube than this app. They refused to let me cancel even within the 30 day window and then finally closed my subscription after 2 months, denying me any refund and trying to force to to keep this low grade content in pretty packaging. This app and their customer screw over “support” has made a lasting impression. Better to go on youtube than this app.

    Content is fine but no smart TV app without a dedicated streaming device and AirPlay functionality is really bad and hard to use. I am only able to watch videos on my phone not on my Samsung smart TV.
