    OpenPhone can be compared to the lowest-tier, budget carriers—lots of flashy marketing but severely lacking in service delivery. Frequent dropped calls and concerning practices, such as the ability to delete your account, data, and phone number within minutes, even without proper justification, raise serious red flags. If you encounter an issue, expect delays of several days before getting a resolution. I’ve reported them to the FCC and am exploring my options for legal action due to negligence and business revenue loss.

    I set up openphone for a rather complex business structure and I have to say I am beyond impressed. This is hands-down one of the best phone services I can think of. Everything is top-notch, good call quality, and just a ton of features to do everything I need to do for my business. I’m pretty picky when it comes to Software, but I would say openphone knocks it out of the park. I was on line2 before and they are terrible in comparison.

    I’ve been round and round for days with this company trying to cancel an acct that I was recently somehow still charged for that should’ve been canceled long ago. Their “live chat” is just a bot. Their email response agent has asked for numerous verifications to cancel and every time one is provided he asks for something else. This company is ridiculous and I’ll be filing fraud charges soon if they can’t get their act together and cancel and refund my acct.

    Ever since we switched to this phone system, I am enjoying everything about it. Very easy to keep track of missed calls and their texting system is amazing. Definitely recommend.

  • Silent Push Notifications

    This is getting ridiculous. App has off and on sent out silent push notifications (no audible alert or even vibration). Its happened on several updates and now are are a one week bender and I am tired of reaching out to tech support with no resolution. So, enjoy staring at your phone all day looking for new messages if you pay for this app.

    There are cheaper and better ways to add a phone line for work. After waiting weeks still no texting capabilities. Seems like a company who poses to be bigger and better than they are… save your money and move on.

    OpenPhone has been a game changer for my small business. It’s great to have the shared number for the business and still be able to keep communication between team members within the app as well. We all love the preprogrammed responses to calls, and messages and the ease of transition between phone to computer use as well. Highly recommend for businesses!!

    I love the software because it is affordable and easy to use and suits the purposes that I have now. The AI summary at the end of a call.... good Lord! What was I doing before AI? 😭 I would love this platform to grow however and have new features. It’s not really a platform that comes out with new features, but I definitely would like to see the ability to have text messaging campaigns.
