This app worked for several months, then suddenly I cannot connect to my existing database. After verifying Face ID, the “wheel” just spins until it gives up!
  • Good Value

I don’t know how much value of the pg app that cost $219 for a lifetime license over this one but for nine bucks it’s a no brainer.

It works, as others have mentioned it’s not “perfect” but it gets the job done when you need to access your databases on the go. Displays a form entry for your stored proc’s arguments too which is nifty! It’s all better than trying to manipulate psql through a terminal app on iOS thats for sure. And for a good price too.
  • Better than PGAdmin on Desktop

Fantastic app. Very feature rich, very stable. This is now my default means for db admin.
  • Lots of bugs but good idea

Until yesterday's update, time fields were incorrect. For example 13:30:00 would show 1:00 AM. That was fixed but now you cannot add a new record that has a date and time field. There are nice clocks and calendars but they will not actually fill in a field. I had to purchase another front end for anything more than viewing data.
  • Many imperfections; unbeatable price

Look, for the price, you’re not going to do better. The competition have enterprise-level subscription rates. This app has a fantastic hobbyist-level price. And that’s what I am, so it’s the only viable option for iPad as far as I can see. It works. It runs queries. It connects and reconnects beautifully. I’ve been creating tables, inserting data, parsing tens of thousands of records without trouble. It crashes sometimes (but brings all your saved queries right back up). The interface can’t run an individual query, only everything that’s in the current window. The query and the results are in different “tabs” but you can’t switch from the query tab to the results tab without exiting the tab because of the keyboard-helper bar along the bottom (the one that’s still there even when you’re on a hardware keyboard). So it lacks polish, sure, but it’s WAY faster and easier than typing out the queries from the CLI. And again, check out that outstanding price!

Great functionality at a very reasonable price. A must have!
  • Should be able to save 1 connection

At first this looked promising until the app crashed. Since you need the pro version to save even 1 connection, I had to re-enter all the connection info each time the app crashed on me. The free version should at least allow 1 saved connection. I hope the pro version doesn't crash as often as the free version. Too unstable for me to buy the pro version.
  • Very good. Redshift mostly works too

Very good postgresql support. But I bought because it is one of the few solutions able to work with Redshift. Seems to support about 90%. Which is good enough for emergency support on the go. Hopefully this helps others.
  • Finally an affordable pg client

Very useful app. It might not look as nice as as SQL Pro, but it’s not crazy overpriced and has all the features you need including connecting through an SSH tunnel, saving favorite queries, an in-line editor and even a dark mode.
